Quote From: cyncritterI find it difficult to believe that a state wherein the already CPS governed children, many of whom are still awaiting good foster care, and those whose foster care parents leave a lot to be desired, can even begin to take on a case of this magnitude. What's going to happen if these children are NOT permitted to return to their mothers in this unlawful existence... and many are placed in foster homes wherein they are sexually abused and mistreated by the families CPS has picked? What THEN??! Two wrong hardly make a right...
So why not tell the mothers IF they want their children back, they have to live with a selected family?
I would like to say that i was born in Provo, UT and I of course was raised with the Mormon religion. Me and my family would go every Sunday and to all the meetings, then stopped when I was 6 because we moved arcoss the U.S. So I don't know as much as I should about it, I don't know where I stand in my own beliefs, I guess you could say I'm still learning (most definetly). But I honestly do not think that what is happening there in Texas and other places is what the mormon religion is about. Its such a terrible thing to hear about and all those children. I really hope and pray that those families, (well one big big family, I guess) will get the help they need and get those 3 things that Dr. Phil said that would need to happen for the chilren to return home to their mothers. I agree with many of the messages on this board. Thanks for listening and trying to make a difference.
