court wont consider lie detector results

I DO BELIEVE THAT THE LIE DETECTOR TEST IS SOMETHING THAT MAY BE USED IN A COURT OF LAW. AND IF AND WHEN DOC PHIL GETS A POSITIVE ADMITTANCE TO SOMELTHING THAT TOO WILL BE ENOUGH FOR COURT.

There are no criminal courts in this country that allow polygraph results to be admitted into evidence.  Im not sure but maybe the results can be considered by child protective services to show a strong suspicion that he is a predator.  He will not be labeled as a predator though until he would be convicted.  I agree completely that he is only admitting to things that are past the statute of limitations.  I also think that he only admits to things that there were witnesses to.  His siblings remember the molestations,  his wife witnessed the one against the daughter and the wife also knew about the beating.  And as far as the mother goes- WTF ?  Even if you let yourself believe that the first incident was the only and he would never do it again- and this is a big if- you still allowed him to sleep in the same bed with her at the age of 12 ?  We could go on about the mother all day, im sure.  I do believe that she feels bad for her inactions and i can understand that she is from a different generation.  What i cannot understand is that she could look at him after this lie detector without vomiting.  To the mother if you are reading this : It is not too late to protect your daughter.  If you were to rid him out of your life and with the proper counseling there is a chance that your family could find some sense of normalcy.  If you stay with this man you are stabbing your daughter in the heart every single day.  You are sleeping with the enemy.  Divorcing this monster could be the one act that could actualy help your daughter to heal.  But you need to decide- a life with your daughter and grandson or a life without.  If you stay with Chester than you cannot put them through having to even talk to you- it would just be another reminder that you are with him and you chose him- every single time that you are to speak to them.

Unfortunately, I don't think these tests are admissable in court because they are not 100% accurate.

You could see the results coming a mile away.  It's usually the self-righteous (hello Eliot Spitzer!) that have the most to hide.  I think Al has convinced himself that because he "loves the Lord" so much, that will absolve his sins.  And don't get me started on the mother, she's a piece of work.

My heart goes out to you Sherie, especially when you said how alone you felt, with no one to turn to, no one to save you, not even your own mother.  I know your story personally, and when the pastor said that just because your biological father was a sperm donor it doesn't make him a true father, the Lord is your father, I thought "well, where then is this true father and why does he let things like this happen?"  That's another question for another day, but just know that there are people out here who wish you well and hope this will be a turning point for you and your family.  Your husband seems like a good man.  Good luck to you.
