Unfortunately, I don't think these tests are admissable in court because they are not 100% accurate.
You could see the results coming a mile away. It's usually the self-righteous (hello Eliot Spitzer!) that have the most to hide. I think Al has convinced himself that because he "loves the Lord" so much, that will absolve his sins. And don't get me started on the mother, she's a piece of work.
My heart goes out to you Sherie, especially when you said how alone you felt, with no one to turn to, no one to save you, not even your own mother. I know your story personally, and when the pastor said that just because your biological father was a sperm donor it doesn't make him a true father, the Lord is your father, I thought "well, where then is this true father and why does he let things like this happen?" That's another question for another day, but just know that there are people out here who wish you well and hope this will be a turning point for you and your family.
