The abuse to the teenage girls and misogynistic power over women is obvious.  The abuse of FLDS of pubescent boys in the compound is often overlooked. The reason they're kicked out is because they're competition for the older men.  SO they find any little thing to kick them out for- watching a movie or talking to a girl.  Then, the boy is "dropped off" miles outside the compound, with NO education, NO life-skills, and distrust for the outside world.  They're called the "Lost Boys", they're basically homeless because they have no one to take them in, and because they don't have much more than a grade-school education, no way to support themselves.  Many are just discarded by the side of the highway, like so much litter, and might as well be tossed on the surface of Mars and then get into drugs to support themselves.  But there are orgs. out there that can help them:
