Wouldn't that be intramarriage if it is within the group?

I think that the police / scientists trying to assign the children to their parents will find that using DNA in this group an impossible task.  I think there is so much inter-marriage within the compound that many childrens DNA will be so close to each other that DNA will be useless as a tool to asign the correct children to their parents. For example, Miss Smith marries Mr Jones. Then, Miss Smith's brother marries Mr Jones Sister. Also cousins marrying first cousins.                          Why aren't they just letting the birth mother's claim their own children?? Are they thinking that the mother's will claim more children than theirs??
Or inbreeding?
