Isn't it something when your own kids turn against you?? I do have to agree with most suggestions Dr. Phil gave to this women, but DO understand her devistation in not being allowed to see her grand daughter. These kids have no idea what it does to a person. What this Mother did with putting graves in her yard was really "out-there", however I could sooo understand when she said it was the only way she could help make the pain go away. I could even understand her posting a message to be a surragate grand parent.
Dr. Phil adores Robin and would do anything to protect her, I just wonder how sympathic he would be if their first grand child was ripped out of their lives, and Robin was the one suffering???? Or be able to back off as an in-law, and watch one of his sons agree with the decision his wife made in not allowing them to see the grand child??? No-one knows the pain till it happens to them. It's been 7 years, and by the grace of God I have been blessed with more grand-kids from my other children. The pain, anger, and emptiness is still there. No amount of therapy could ever restore enough faith in ever trusting this daughter again. It "truly" is an unforgivable situation.
I hope your new marriage has brought you the happiness you sooooo deserve.
