You speak about God as though you think of yourself as a Christian. And you think that they would be better if He/ She had died! That infuriates me! These innocent children are hurting of course but are acting like spoiled selfish brats. Why should Kayla have lived her life as a man when she felt that she should have been a woman? Because her children wanted her to? Why shouldn't they love their father enough to want him to be happy? They speak of him as if he has died. He is still there! Just because he wants to be a woman doesn't change his love for them. Kayla has never said that she doesn't want a relationship with the girls. Its the girls that refuse to have a relationship with Kayla.
I also do not agree with the way Dr Phil treated Kayla. Still referring to her as he and him. Clearly Dr Phil had made up his mind before the show. It seems that he chooses the side of the person who writes into the show.
He says that Kayla gets defensive. DUH! I would be defensive too. I agree that maybe Kayla didn't go about informing them the right way, but what about their Mothers? Obviously they knew what was happening, why didn't they prepare the girls?
Everyone here refers to the Bible and God. Including Dr Phil on allot of show. Has anyone actually read the Bible???? We are living in what Revelations calls "The last days". This is what it is all about. Would people think this way if Michael had been born with only one arm? What about if he had been born with both genitals? Think about how Kayla must have felt for the last 40 yrs. Can you imagine how confusing that would be to feel like you should be someone else? God tells us that we are not to judge. Good thing. I wouldn't want any of you to be there on judgment day when my sins come up. We are all imperfect people. The person I quoted above did make a true statement. God does not make mistakes. HOWEVER he doesn't stop them either.
Why? Because the Devil questioned Gods right to rule, his Sovereignty. He became jealous and wanted the worship for himself. Basically that is what he told Eve, that God had lied to them. He told them that they didn't need God, that they could rule themselves. Genesis 2:1-5
So what has happened since then? We have been trying to rule ourselves and failing. Look at all the wars, the hate, the disease etc. Its not God that is doing this, he doesn't "make" us a certain way. He doesn't "make" us gay, or trans-gendered. We are born that way because of the time we are living in. It has been getting worse and worse , year after year. Just look at the "gender' issue in the world. I'm 34. I can not believe the changes just since I was a kid.
Others say that they don't believe in this part of the Bible, or that part. Bla bla bla.
I'm sorry you cant pick and chose what you want to believe in. If you have a recipe for a cake, you don't pick and chose what ingredients you want to add. You read and use it from start to end to get a finished product.
We all say the Lord's prayer and ask for " Your will to be done on earth as it is in heaven"
Obviously we want God to govern us on earth as he does the heavens.
God said that it would be worse than in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah before he brings a end to this old system of things we are living in. Well folks I think we are really close.
I don't hate people like Kayla and either should you. Try to walk a day in their shoes.
So I don't think that the girls would be better off if their dad had died. They need to grow up and love him/her for what she is. Their Parent.
