i think sassylassy has a point. she really seemed to not know how to answer questions that should have been simple if she were innocent. she had a really hard time explaining how or why she did things. her mental state of breaking up with him, him supposidly abusing and/or threating to kill her and her brother, having a car and possibly being really really angry with him?? her apologies seemed generic. i'm sorry for everything?? to both the family and the boy she killed?? like 2 sentences.. i guess that's all it takes.. the only thing she really seemed sorry about was all that she was missing out on and how her family was doing. maybe i was wrong to only see the remorse she was lacking at taking a life at all, whether it be accidental or on purpose, rather than the regret of losing her freedom and some years off her life.
