I received  my latest copy of  REDBOOK mag and was reading this article HOW TO SILIENCE YOUR CRITIC and it was fun reading.  Saw my mom and my ex-boss too! Big AHA moment there!  Then when I began to read the KNOW IT ALL CRITIC, I knew it was about me and that once again I was going to fail at ending this behavior.  AND GUESS WHAT??!!!

Some people are simply analytical by nature (that's me to the core) -- and they are sorting thru and presenting all the opintions / data.

I nearly danced the night away. I've been working hard at changing this behavior and it's my core behavior which means I can do differently!  It's not a negative .. I'm not competing .. I'm just doing my natural thing.  Like when I brainstorm off the top of my head when I talk to people (and yes strangers and friends).  Today I suggested that my meat market carry special products once a month and just rotate it. They can post a sign up for us so we can make sure to stop by that week to get whatever special turkey products they have.  I go there for my hot dogs -- They're fresh and cheap!

So I'm okay .. that really makes me feel good about me!  It's what I needed to hear.  AND I tore out only 2 pages before I gave it away. 1 was for goal setting for exercise and there was a chicken recipe I wanted to try.  Cool huh!!  I'm really getting good at doing that.  However, I still not willing to give up my Martha Beck articles out of O .. I've been collecting them for years and years now!!

Hi Everyone; See that you all are busy. As far as me I am truly trying to live in the moment for now which is challenging but it can be done. I also have been reconnecting with my old self. The independent, strong, giving person that I am and that feels good. Also have been doing things that reflect my authentic self; being outgoing and giving back. Now I know what I truly like and would like to move forward with.

Like It would be so nice to have more income w here I could be my own boss. I love the independence of making my own money and doing my own thing. I also love being around people and have been and that lifts my spirit. I also have forgiven my ex and got rid of the bad Karma between us and have forgiven him for the abuse he dished out to me. Also, I love my life right now because I come and go and do what I like without anyone telling me differently and like many wise people say; when one thing doesnt work try something else.

Keep Up the Good Work

Your insights are fabulous!

I've been reading in a slightly different vein: The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch. It's an amazingly courageous, inspired and moving work by a fascinating and remarkable man.

I highly recommend it. This dying man's book is VERY seriously about LIVING! I never thought that I would be sitting and laughing as I read such a book but that is part of his message, I think.
