I think the entire senerio smacks of money---it was easier for everyone to allow Grandpa to continue so no one had to get a job that suported themselves or lost their free babysitter while they ran around.
I only feel sorry for the boy who will have a miserable life because of this family. Wow. I can't believe how quickly people forgot one of the most important facts and are so quick to blame Sherry-Lynn. In case you missed it (or forgot)...
Sherry didn't even remember the abuse until 6 years ago. And in case you missed it on the first show, once she remembered, and listen to this part...SHE NEVER LEFT HER SON ALONE WITH HIM AGAIN. How DARE you make assumptions and critisize anyone in a situation that you obviously don't have all the details about.
Get your facts straight before you assign yourself the role of judge, jury and executioner.
