I don't mean beating a child which is abuse, I mean putting a paddling on the rearend that God put padding on to cushion the blows. Get these kids attention, don't just take away their perks, i.e.cell phone, computer, games, etc. That does nt work because they have something else to do till you get the idea they are the boss, not you.
I paddled my kids and they are not drug addicts, they are not in prison, nor are they deformed from the spankings. They are members of society that pay taxes and act like they are suppose to.
In the Bible it says "spare NOT the rod to spoil the child", not to spare the rod and spoil the child. It means that the parent is suppose to discipline the child to make them know the right way.
The control of children has not been taken from the parents. I raised two great kids who are not drug addicts,nor in prison. Who Work & pay taxes, and don't hit their kids. Just as I didn't hit them. All spanking does is tell your child your bigger than him so you can hurt him. My grandson when you would take away all his toys would read a book. Never take away books!!! Treat them as you would want to be treated. And TALK to them. LISTEN to them!!! They have a lot to say. Discipline yes abuse & hurt NO! My Kids & grandkids show me so much love & respect its beautiful. Please Don't Spank!!!!
