Quote From: spstarfishHi, I'm "Pam" in the Orange dress on this show. I'd just like for you to know that your not a nobody... I'm your average working American. I'm an office manager and don't make a lot of money. Just enough to get by and afford an very small apartment. I just lucked out on getting on the show... It started as one thing, and before I knew it, it turned into something else. I don't know anyone in particular, or have a friend that works on the show. On my own, over the past 4 years, I've lost 40 lbs. I stopped drinking and took accountability for myself. I started off very slow, only walking a half mile on the treadmill. Slowyly I cut out a lot of bad food and now I can run over 5 miles. I've run in three 10 k's and didn't do too badly. Certainly not the best, but the best I could! I want you to know that if someone like me, with a history of being depressed, overweight and wondering why I was on this earth can make exciting change, anyone can. You just have to surround yourself w/ people who aren't going to sabbotage you but will support you.
Hi Pam, wow your body is rediculous (in a good way). Holy cow, all your curves fell into all the right places, right on! I'm not even in agreement that you need to lose any weight, plenty of girls would kill for your figure. That dress was awesome too. I think you shuld model, your face is so beautiful.
Sorry to say though you might have replied to the the wrong poster. I'm not the gal that think she's a nobody. I was just trying to help someone else realize *they* are not a nobody.
Your advice is spot on and I think others can learn from you. You don't have to have money, nutritionists, cooks, or trainers. Buy a book, buy some weights, get walking, count calories, just get moving. If you can't get moving because of health reasons take in fewer calories. Over time you will *still* lose weight. Don't live your *old* life, live a new one. And never look back. If you do you'll only be living your old life again.
