I do think that the courts need to keep out of these kind of disputes. What I do think is that unless the grandparents are in any way abusive to their grandchildren then they should be able to see them. I know for a fact that many parents use their children as pawns to make their parents dance to the tune that they want them to. I've seen parents who will have a small (SMALL) dispute with a parent an the very next thing out of their mouth is a threat that the grandparents won't ever get to see the grandkids again. I feel that this is awful! Grandparents have so much to offer children and what's so wrong with your child having even more people to show and give them love? I don't necessary mean Rita here. This woman has issues!  At the same time i feel the parents shouldn't be discussing this in front of their children because of course children are going to resent anyone who hurts mommy & daddy. This is a real mess.
