07/03 Get Rich Quick Disasters
Quote From: leestpeteHey Dr. Phil
I am a 911 operator..and you would never believe how many people call about these silly scam schemes. they actualy believe if they send someone money they get so keep some. and they send it thur western union. i will never forget the call where the wife was slapping the back of her husband's head for sending someone 500 buck thur western union thinking he was gonna get free money. it was sad that he was not employed and used her money. man she was mad!!! but i tell people all day long...if u didn't invite them over to your house or asked for information...don't deal with them . I am sorry to say i actually have to tell people not to be afraid of being rude to strangers..just tell them no!! hang up the phone!!! and don't open the door.
I have printed out a letter sent to me with the heading "Praise The Lord Beloveth" It is in essence the same scam as the person needing someone to send money. He is just using religion to get to the person. He uses a lot of psychology to make the person feel bad and that he/she hasn't done enough for God and I'm sure that's where the money comes in.
He then ask for the person Particulars, full names, full address, direct telephone and fax numbers to enable him to procure the necessary documents covering the fund, making he/she the sole beneficiary of the fund. He then says He will start up all the necessary process on how the funds will get to he/she. Be informed that as soon as this fund is in your possession, I shall join you in your country to see how the fund will be used for the things that will glorify God and to give thanks to God.

It is sad that he will probably scam a lot of people with this new one. It is very sad that something can't be done to stop it. His Email address is brothermikeadams202@Yahoo.co.uk I'm sure he has changed it.
