I may not have articulated this.
Of course the majority of peeps with OCD related conditions are not alcoholics/addicts I also have two friends unfortunately with different degrees of it.
Nevertheless, what this couple presented on the tele, was alcoholic and drug abuse behavior which needs to be addressed along with the OCD.
I consider myself a hoarder -and my place is a mess a lot of the time -this is beyond that. I think the difference is that although I have emotional attachments to things there comes a point when things get chucked out. I have heard of people hoarding food -it is apparently fairly common when people have gone thorugh long periods of semistarvation. This is just sick though, what bothers me the most is the rotten food and poo. My son poos on the floor sometimes (he is disabled). After making him dispose of it in the toilet we clean the carpet together. He'll get it eventually. I can't understand someone leaving 7 cats to poo through their house. I am suprised they haven't got sick
