I love my gay son as much today as I did before I knew he was gay. He is still the same person. It breaks my heart when people yell "faggot" when he crosses the street.

thank you. it is very nice to read what you wrote. i am gay and my mother is catholic. she stays loyal to her religion even though she has 2 gay sons and even married my father while not being in love with him at all. i see no sense in it and she forced that religion on us from as far back as i can remember. it is frustrating. i avoid my family. its better for me.
