Quote From: phissy73Everything on the tube is about sex - commercials, talk shows, sitcoms(sexcoms) - every object in the universe is called sexy ---- wouldn't you think the AIDS pandemic would jar people loose from using their privates instead of their brains? Is there any way you could change your agenda and focus on something more interesting and less invasive and demeaning than bedroom behaviors? Why not get back to some basic decency and moral responsibility instead of sensationalism and eroticism - Surely there must be people in your audience who would welcome some worthwhile information. God help us all!!
Sex, sex, sex, yes, it is everywhere! But, it's not like Dr. Phil is like Jerry Springer and making a sideshow out of it. I look at it as more of a warning. It is also very educational, the shows on teen sex, when parents have no idea what their children know and are up to nowadays. I do think there needs to be a show on the use of date rape drugs. There are so many young women who go to the clubs, and they have no idea how dangerous that can be. All they have to do is take their eyes off of their drink for just a second for this to happen to them. So I have no problem with this, people do need to learn a lot about what is going on out there. Maybe you are just against it because you are no longer getting any! And BTW, every subject is certainly not about sex! He does diversify his shows, maybe you just weren't paying attention at the time.
P.S. If you are too much of a prude to watch the show, then watch something else. No one is forcing you!
