Like you JP, I'm thrilled. Several months ago a list of 42 potential vp candidates was on MSNBC, along with their biographies both political and personal. I was fascinated and read each one carefully. (There was the same type listing for vp possibilities for the Democratic party also).
I told Raj months ago that Sarah Palin should be the choice. Wish I had a bookie that had been taking book on it! LOL! My second choice would have been Bobby Jindal, though he is very young. We will see him in the future though, I feel sure of that. But over all Palin has been my choice for VP from the beginning. I am very happy to see a woman on the ticket, and one that is into family, one that is dealing with the same issues as family (teen pregnancy, son in Iraq, etc, etc). I like that she is plain spoken and has no airs about her.
I also like that the media is a total failure in trying to demean her children. Bastages one and all! Have I told you all how much I hate the media??? Oh yeah I have. hehe Anyway I like her, I think the two of them will be great for this country.
Janet contributing to the campaign is as good a way to spend money as any. I see it as an investment in this country. Isn't that what all campaign contributions from the small guy like us are really? Sure, so there is no shame is supporting what you believe in. I am looking for a sign for my yard, something I have never ever done. But I told Raj to be finding us one. I am thrilled that we have a strong ticket for a conservative team. I'm a moderate conservative plain and simple and I love this team! =)
I really think I am most happy that Sarah Palin isn't a feminist by feminist standards. That is most refreshing. Yup, I'm happy with a hockey mom, after all being a mom is a job I love why shouldn't our leaders love it too? =) My personal motto to my family is "I am here to serve".....I love it too!!
Hehe, I'm doing surgery prep today (40 gallons of laxatives...sheese) so no one can claim I am full of sh*t either. =P LMAO!!
Love you all!
