Quote From: cindy_fullerI'm 58 and I too just watched the first weight loss show of the season !! It Was Great !
I need to lose about 50 lbs but would be glad to lose 30 , but it's sooo hard !
I don't work outside of the home either because I had a knee replacement done and I'm still not back on my feet completely , plus I have arthritis and if I could lose some weight I'm sure it would help me... Its still difficult to go out walking very far but today I did it and I'm planning on going tomorrow morning ... You owe it to yourself and your family to get into shape ...I know you can do !
SOO YOU GO GIRL !!!!
GET OUT FOR THAT WALK AND KEEP A JOURNAL OF WHAT YOU EAT THIS WEEK AND YOU WILL SEE A LOSE NEXT WEEK .. GOOD LUCK
I am 54 and I also had knee replacement in January. It was rough at first but I have been released from physical therapy and knew I needed to get back to the gym. I made myself go most nights this week. I walked 1 mile on the treadmill and biked for 20-40 minutes. The challenge is to get myself there on a regular basis. My other knee has arthritis so I need to lose weight now so I can get around again.
I had lost 25 pounds in the three months after the surgery, just really wasn't hungry, but I gained it back as soon as I went back to work.
It did seem though that the more I exercised this week the more I ate. All my overeating occurs at night in front of the tv......sometimes even while watching Dr. Phil!!
