Are you experiencing irritation overload with a friend or loved one? Does he or she cause scenes in public and make you the butt of bad jokes? If so, you’re not alone. Angie says her sister, Gwen, is the most annoying person on the planet! She rants, raves and flips the bird to total strangers. She even teaches Angie’s 2-year-old curse words. Gwen says her behavior is funny and thinks Angie needs to lighten up. Watch what happens when Dr. Phil plans an experiment and gives Gwen a taste of her own medicine! Then, remember the lovable loudmouth, Becky? Her daughter, Sara, said she swore like a drunken sailor, and could be heard from miles away. Becky said she was simply opinionated, honest and blunt. Has she been able to keep her big mouth shut since she was on the show? Plus, Taylor and Cassidy say their mom, Suzanne’s, obsession with watching Dr. Phil is driving them nuts! Share your thoughts, join the discussion.

Find out what happened on the show.

Annoying People

I am a senior citizen and I work with a young man who is much younger than myself.  He is small in stature and I feel that he likes to cut me and other people down because: 1. I think that it makes him feel big and he finds it funny.  2. He likes the attention that he gets when he does it.  3. Also in talking with him I find that as a boy his father treated him bad trying to make a man out of him.  4. Also he wanted him to play basketball and he pushed it a lot, and he is short, which most basketball players are not.   There are times when you could not ask for a better friend, so I try to overlook it and hope that some day he will grow up.  Any suggestion?

i didn't get to watch much of the show today, but what i saw was crazy. there are some aniel people in the world, like the one woman who told people how to bag her stuff at the store. i'm a cashier and i hate people who do that. it's like damn to it yourself and leave me the hell alone. just because you are crazy and need controal over everything doesn't mean you have to tell me how to do my job.

03/21 More Annoying People

Quote From: blgspc

If I EVER found my sister-or any other adult, for that matter- teaching and coaxing my innocent and vulnerable 2 y.o. to use vile and obscene language for their own personal and selfish amusement, that person would no longer be permitted to spend time with my child, period!

That is very abusive!!!

I feel the exact same way. no way would I stand by and allow some one, I don't care who they are to purposely teach and coach my children inusing that filthy language. If this lady only changes one thing, I sure the heck hope she changes this particular behavior, if she were my sister (any one, for that matter) and didn't chill out, she would not be stepping foot in my home.

First of all you people act like you never said a bad damn word in your life get over it. Angie's husband starts the mess first i just finish it. My mouth is not all the time foul, thank you
I think the problem is the fact that you are teaching and encouraging this child to say those words. It isn't like she is justhearing them because they slipped. I think you are very disrespectful for doing this and I hope you stop. She isn't even your child and you need to respect her parents in how they are raising her, they don't want her using the words so youneed to back off. I don't even let people cuss in my home, my home, my rules. my children, my rules. You are a very immature woman, I think it is you who needs to lighten up and I hope being on the show has helped you, c'mon, respect your family.

Verbal abuse

Gwen should be kept away from Angie's child, period.  Even Angie, an adult,  does not have to put up with such abusive behavior.  It's not cute, but thoroughly disgusting, and downright dangerous.

Annoying People Show 3/21/06

On your show Annoying People Show (3/21/06), you had a guest Michelle who was a control freak. You stated that you had stratgies to help her control her anxiety or exercises to help her manage her anxiety. I could not find those on your website. Could you send them to me.

Sounds to me that you are not getting it. We are not saying, "oh my god she said a bad word in front of that child." We are saying, we can't believe you teach it to her. That is a deliberate act, which you know is wrong! You think it is cute now, but how cute will it be when this little girl grows up, and uses it against you? I think you are really stupid if you don't see how wrong that is. Common sense escapes you. Time to grow up, and own up to your mistakes.

Michelle-Control/Organize Freak/Person

I'm also a Michelle clone....I don't tell workers how to bag the groceries though.  I just about fell out of my chair when she was pushing her grocery cart and had to have her groceries in a certain order in the cart.  I do this too....also because I want to be more efficient..get more in the cart, don't smash the fruits and veggies, etc.  Gosh I must be annoying to live with!  I don't refold socks though.  But I do like my house to be in a certain order and absolutely can't stand clutter.  I totally agree with Dr. Phil on this is how I control my anxiety.  I've always been this way...don't even remember how or when it started, but I'm sure I was a young child and it is very well ingrained into me now.  Dr. Phil makes it sound so simple..."The world won't fall off of it's axis if you just don't do this and that.  Let it go!"  Wish I could Dr. Phil.  So where is this info that Dr. Phil was going to provide for us control/organized freaks on his website?  Dr. Phil, you could do a whole show on this issue, you know??  By the way....you are my hero!

Suzannes Obsession

Suzanne - I was a guest on the Dr. Phil show in May of 2005 with a very similiar topic as yours. I too am "obsessed" with the Dr. Phil show and was allowing it to interfere with "family time". I came home from LA and made some major changes and nearly a year later I say life is definately better with finding the balance of "my time". I could completely relate to you needing some time for what you want to watch. Mom's need time to unwind too. I'd rather be obsessed/addicted to Dr. Phil than some of the other "crap" that is aired on television these days. I hope all is going well with you and your family.

More Annoying People--Suzanne

Quote From: tripleh

So someone is going to be a guest on a show that they are obsessed with. I think that would be a dream come true for me personaly if I were obsessed with Dr.Phil and the show but that's my take on it. What do you think?
When I was watching this episode, someone came to my front door and rang the doorbell and banged on the door.  I did what I had to do.  I ignored them and continued to watch Dr. Phil.
