Admit it, you've judged people for doing things you considered inappropriate and abnormal in public. Meet Margaret, a stay-at-home mom who's tired of everyone thinking sex is taboo. She says she absolutely loves sex and she'll talk about it anytime, anywhere ... and with all of her kids. This includes showing them her sex toys, her sex swing and her X-rated Web site! But that's not all. Margaret is in a relationship with another woman, Jen, and Jen's husband. Now that she's pregnant, both women say they plan on breastfeeding the baby. Then, meet a husband who sometimes uses the F word six times in one sentence! Plus, meet three kids who think their mom dresses too sexy, and follow a woman's quest to change people's behavior in the grocery store, one shopper at a time. Join the discussion.

Find out what happened on the show.

Disgusting group of people

I dont have any problems with  them having their little 3-way, or Margrets web site, or her sex toys and  swing, those things are all fine...  FOR ADULTS!!!!!!!!   She has no right to put those kids in that situation.  Her education theory is just an excuse.  I  think  that she gets off on showing her kids these things just  like she gets off on having 3-ways , putting herself on display on her website, letting her kids play with her sex toys, and telliing them that the cure-all for just about everything is to masturbate (which i dont have a problem with maturbating  either, I just dont think you should be telling children to do it everytime they come to you with a problem)   She was so ridiculous and hard-headed and the thought of those kids living around that is really scary.  The things they are exposing those kids too is horrible  ALL THREE OF THEM ARE DISGUSTING,  and I think that they are abusing those kids ,they may not be doing it physically or with words but I think it is emotioal abuse.  As adults they should be protecting these kids, but they are too selfish so they totally expose them to it and call it "education".  which I thought was a complete load of crap.  It is really sad that a new bably will be brought into this  mess,  The poor thing will be breast fed by two women one who is mommy, one who is the girlfriend married to daddy,  and then you have wonderful daddy who is having a good time with everyone! If  the baby starts to cry at night are they going to tell it to maturbate or will they put it in mommy's sex swing??  I'm sorry but these people have no bussiness being around kids.   They are perverse  doing it is one thing but flaunting it and thorwing it in little kids faces everyday making them see it, hear it and have to deal with is is repulsive.Children do not belong in that home.

04/07 Social Taboos: Is This Normal?

Quote From: reba01

I can't figure out why Dr. Phil aired this episode.  There is no chance of convincing these three that they are harming their children and any other children who get to know these people.   Therefore all that was accomplished was to put these sick ideas out there where other maladjusted people can get sick ideas.
That's a very good point.  There was no resolve or spoken disapproval.  Simply, "This is America, what can I tell you."  How about, "This is America, what are you thinking?"  It should not have been aired without Dr. Phil saying his "Before the sun sets today....." speech.  I hope that he follows up on this before next week and apologizes for not doing something and offers some resolve.

This is America

Is that all you could say Dr Phil? Of course, I turned you off after that.

What an outrage!  If they are exposing their bodies to those children that is child abuse! They are getting a perverse satisfaction from their behaviour. It has absolutely nothing to do with education.

Those poor children. I am so upset I can't see straight.

Of course those (parents?) will allow them to see the show and they could have at least known from a responsible adult that the way they were being taught was wrong.

You have sold out Dr Phil!  God help America!

Really???????

Where are the authorities? Somebody step in and do something!!!!! If these freaks make it another week without a visit from a higher power I would be surprised. This woman could not even justify why she has this belief that life will be easier for her children. They are Nymphos that have so many children through this practice that it is impossible to hide it from them. This guy with a potty mouth is small potatoes compared to the Sex farm. And as far as a grocery store divider, my wife would put it to the side of some impatient shoppers head. If you can't keep up with your s&#t than use it. I know my wife has no problems from what I have seen. Like she always tells me, " Its not that serious!" Dr. Phil......CPS.....1st guests.......

I had to stop watching Phil because of the gross sex fanatics, so I don't know the whole story.  I'm talking about the lady who wants people to use the divider when they are at the grocery store.  I am with her 100%.

Here's the problem I have had.  When the person behind me doesn't use the divider, I usually end up with several of their items before I can get the brain-dead teenaged cashier to stop mindlessly running things by the scanner.  The customer behind me is too busy looking at the Soap Opera Digest to notice.  I put the divider up if the person responsible (the next customer or the person behind me) neglects to do so.  I don't make much of it, and I don't expect them to make anything of it either.  The strange part is the only person who seems to mind is the brain-dead teenager.  They absolutely hate having to put that extremely heavy piece of plastic back the eight inches it moved away from its origin.  It makes me want to laugh when they roll their eyes because the divider totally ruined their day!  LOL.

Don't you have other things to worry about though?

And don't call the cashier a brain-dead teenager...at least they have jobs! Many teens now days don't have jobs!

I have never encountered what you are complaining about. Maybe if you attitude towards the checkers were more friendly and  less judgmental they wouldn't roll thier eyes at you.

Trucker

I am married to a Trucker, he's been on the road for 25 years and he is not the sterotype       trucker as the wife said her husband is.  He doesn't have a mouth like tim, yes there may be some out there that use dirty langauge but then again there are some wonderful drivers out there that don't, but that does not mean they all use dirty language all of the time and not swear every word  they speak. There are a lot of wonderful truck drivers out there who take pride in their driving, not all truck drivers use the language or speak the way tim does. She needs to be around a lot more drivers before she says he is a sterotype driver. I for one take offense at the way she seems to think just because he acts like that , that all men act like that because they don't.

I am married to a wonderful trucker.

Bad language

I really identified with this young father, I find it hard not to use the "F" word in day to day life and not because I lack the vocabulary, because it's so darn funny. As proven by the laughs while you read the "rose" list.  I've found that if I slip in front of children even strangers, if I apologize immediately and tell them that what I said is strictly adult talk and they should never repeat ANYTHING that I say, they have acted according to my wishes. It's kind of a running joke with my friends' kids, they finish the rest of the apology before I can even finish.

Lighten up, people, it's a WORD! Although I don't condone cussing in front of children, I'm tired of catering to a bunch of kids that aren't going to be prepared to live in the real world because you've sheltered them from any and all adult language.

I think Margret is abnormal

I am truely shocked that this parent has the gull to come on national TV and state that she exposes her children to her sex life. And for her to humilate her 14 yr. old by telling someone who called that her daughter was in her room masterbating is down right sick. Her poor daughter, what she must have faced the next day.  If someone who isn't related to the children exposed them to this garbage, I would almost bet, it would be against the law.  Chances are, we will see some of these kids on the Dr. Phil show in a couple of years... the title will be...My Mom's boyfriend and girlfriend had sex with me while my mom watched.  I think Margret and Jen and whatever the man's name was need to get a clue. It's one think to sexually educate your children, it's another to not only give permission but to encourage children into sexual behavior they are not emotionally or mature enough to know about. Shame on this people and I thank God they are not my neighbors, because I would have children's services on there door step.
