Topic : 04/07 Social Taboos: Is This Normal?

I think everyone should be required to have a customer service job for 3 months in order to be an actual member of the human race. I'm not talking about some snotty little boutique either, I'm talking about a job in which you are forced to deal with the everyday public in all thier glory and horror.  People who have had jobs like this do not treat cashiers bad for the most part.

I am now a SAHM but I have been a cashier before and I have worked in a midlevel retail store for years and I too have stories that could make your blood boil.

Amen for the pettiest subject !!!!!!!! I 'd hate to be by this lady in the 12 or less checkout!!!!!  She probably counts everyone's groceries!!!!!!!!!:>)   What would she do if you had 13 items??????? :>) Will wonders never cease!!!

There has to be a happy medium between what these women are doing and the way I was raised. At age 21, after being married for a year or so, I felt that something was missing in my sex life, I was never told about female orgasms, and as a matter of fact SOME people told me that they were a MYTH! I ended up watching porn in order to understand exactly HOW to accomplish this "myth"...It was the only way I could figure out how to find out, cause I couldn't ask anyone I knew and I didn't think "proper christian" people would ever talk about it, so I went to the other extreme and downloaded porn!

It worked, but I would have rathered my mother just tell me about ALL my body parts and what they are for!!!!

 I agree she  is a very sick person.. and should be put way for a long time.... cause making your  kid walk around nude is wrong i hope DR.PHIL turns her in. Please DR.PHIL help these kids so they can try to have a normal life... she says her kids are happy... yeah right only cause they do not know no other way of living.... dang seeing naked pics of my mom is something i hope i will never see.....  my kids will be told about sex i will answer there questions but i will not let them watch show them pics or toys.....my sex life is none of there business.... all 3 adults needs to be arrested.....

Yes America, the woman is nuts. Dr. Phil, are you nuts for entertaining this woman's notion of sexual liberality, and not calling CPS? Dr. Phil you of all people should get how a kid think and that they can't understand or handle sex until they are much older. Sex is a part of life that most Americans are perfectly comfortable with. It is a private thing, regardless of what this mother thinks. If she chooses to behave like she does, who can stop her, as long as she's not harming herself, or her cosenting ADULT cohorts. What she is doing to her kids, however is, dare I use the term, EVIL! She IS abusing those kids. Dr. Phil those kids didn't pick this wench as their ma! They could be experiecing molestation and all kinds of other things that she wouldn't tell you. Maybe you investegate your guests better than this and thing all the woman needs is a soft chiding. I honestly haven't seen today's show but I can still tell this lady is so far past the moon she's into a new lightyear. Hey Doc, you're mostly right on with what you think. Tell this lady that just because something brings you so much pleasure, that you can't just go hog wild as thiswoman does. For example, I sometimes think I would enjoy beating on folks when they enrage me. Not just feel vindicated, but enjoy it! I like the idea of pounding someone. Is that ok? If my kids are a pain one day, am I going to pound them (pause for ponder). Well if I have to answer this question, you need help. Of course you just can't do what you feel like. That's life. It's how we survive. It's how God gave us a way to live.

These people are SICK. They "talk" abut it with there children now, but what will they do next? Those sick mugs will probably show their children how or what to do. Those kids need to go away, FAR AWAY from those nast creatures. They're lucky the show doesn't post where they live because I'd call the PD myself and ltell them they make the one walk around naked, that is Sexual Harrassment.

You say nothing the previous poster said was unreasonable.  Is it unreasonable to have a 14-year old girl naked for 2 hours in the house while there is a grown man living there?  That man was not her father, he was the other woman's husband.  It is not unreasonable to show your children porn? of yourself?  It is not unreasonable to let inappropriate aged children play with sex toys?   

  

I also read your posting to the lady about the moral decline in our society.  I can see that we are not on the same page.  Lets just agree to disagree. 

I'm going to have to play devils advocate here because you are getting a little over board about this.

Exactly how is seeing a picture of your mother naked harmful if it IS the way you were raised? Some countries people walk around naked all the time. Some African areas people walk around with loin clothes or less. Breasts hang out and it's the norm.

Now if these children are raised with this open sexuality as the "norm"...then how exactly are they being harmed?
