According to the bible, there are 2 main resurrections. There have been many more that were performed by Jesus and his Apostles. Regarding the 2 resurrections, we have to keep in mind that there are two separate groups of people that the bible addresses. There are those who will inherit the earth, and those who will be resurrected to heaven (the great crowd and the small flock). Revelation chapter 7 states this small flock as being numbered 144,000. I think why it's so hard to understand the bible because some places Jesus is speaking to his apostles (first part of the 144,000) and other places he's speaking to the general population. That's were many problems arise if quotes are taken out of context and people are unclear as to whom the words are being directed. These few, as chapter 20 in Revelation is regarding, will be priests of God and Christ in heaven. The rest are part of the Great Crowd who will be resurrected to a paradise earth once the wicked are removed.

I do agree that there are two main resurrections, the third one the Bible speaks of is called the resurrection of damnation. Gods says the False Prophet and the Anti-Christ will be in this resurrection and they will be ashes under our feet, along with those that committed the Unpardonable Sin, or refuse to live under Gods Government.

Rev 20:13-15 and Matt 25:41,46 are a few scriptures that come to mind regarding the 3rd resurrection but I will have to look in my concordance for the rest.

The Heaven Question:

Think about this, even in The Lord Prayer it says - Thy kingdom Come, Thy Will Be Done, ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN...Gods kingdom is coming to be established on earth as it is in heaven?

The resurrections:

1st Resurrection - Gods saints will rise up out of their graves to meet Christ in the air at his return to establish Gods kingdom on the earth. His saints will be changed spiritual at this time to rule as kinds and priests on the earth.

2nd Resurrection - This is the resurrection that happens after the 1000 year millennium, the resurrection of the great multitude.

Please send the scriptures that shows me where anyone goes to heaven when they die. Everyone believes this, how am I missing it?

The Bible does say that Satan is the author of confusion, the scriptures that I have sent you and studied out in great detail say just the opposite, no confusion - even the lords prayer makes it very plain.

God cannot conterdict himself...

The 144,000 - Funny you mentioned this, I am doing a deep study of the 144,000 now. I've always wondered if the 144,000 counted for people since the beggining of time or just at the end time. If you have any information about this please let me know?

woo!  I am so sorry for anybody who deals with this level of emotionalism.  I used to be bi-polar and took many MANY things as a personal attack.  And used to tell people they had NO RIGHT to tell me I am wrong.  But the beauty is, they do have that right.  When our emotions control our words and our attitude towards others when we are merely tired, this shows where we are in our spiritual/emotional development.  I'm sorry that your husband is overseas because it obviously affects you greatly, but I am also thankful that he is, because due to his willingness we all have the right to freedom of speech, freedom of the press, and freedom of religion.  And you have the right to say "YOU HAVE NO RIGHT" to anybody that you want about anything that you want (whether it is true, or not).  This is the beauty of living in America as an American.

There are some at this group who are far too "head" strong and emotional for me (been there, done that - BAD combo)  -it's that unequally yoked theory  So, farewell.
