Hi MJ,

Would you believe the town I live in doesn't even have a mall. LTS!  I haven't been on much this week, only because when I'm feeling down and troubled by something, I kinda withdrawal and hibernate 'til I can get things worked out on my own.   I know I tell everyone to talk about their problems and get it out off their mind, but that just doesn't work for me.  Especially, from my past and present experiences on this particular message board. <<smile>>  Take care and GOD bless.

Leave it to Robin Williams ;-)

You gotta love Robin Williams......

Even if he's nuts!

Leave it to Robin Williams to come up with the perfect plan. What we need now is for our UN Ambassador to stand up and repeat this message - over & over.

Robin Williams' plan...(Hard to argue with this logic!)

"I see a lot of people yelling for peace, but I have not heard of a plan for peace. So, here's one plan."

1) "The US will apologize to the world for our "interference" in their affairs, past & present. You know, Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin, Tojo, Noriega, Milosevic, Hussein, and the rest of those 'good ole boys', we will never "interfere" again.

2) We will withdraw our troops from all over the world, starting with Germany, South Korea, the Middle East, and the Philippines. They don't want us there. No one allowed sneaking through holes in the fence.

3) All illegal aliens have 90 days to get their affairs together and leave. We'll give them a free trip home. After 90 days the remainder will be gathered up and deported immediately, regardless of whom or where they are. They're illegal!!!France will welcome them.

4) All future visitors will be tho-roughly checked and limited to 90 days unless given a special permit!!!! No one from a terrorist nation will be allowed in. If you don't like it there, change it yourself and don't hide here. Asylum would never be available to anyone. We don't need any more cab drivers or 7-11 cashiers.

5) No foreign "students" over age 21. The older ones are the bombers. If they don't attend classes, they get a "D" and it's back home baby.

6) The US will make a strong effort to become self-sufficient energy wise. This will include developing nonpolluting sources of energy but will require a temporary drilling of oil in the Alaskan wilderness. The caribou will just have to cope for a while.

7) Offer Saudi Arabia and other oil producing countries $10 a barrel for their oil. If they don't like it, we go some place else. They can go somewhere else to sell their production. (About a week of the wells filling up the storage sites would be enough.)

8) If there is a famine or other natural catastrophe in the world, we will not "interfere." They can pray to Allah or whomever, for seeds, rain, cement or whatever they need. Besides most of what we give them is stolen or given to the army. The people who need it most get very little, if anything.

9) Ship the UN Headquarters to an isolated island some place. We don't need the spies and fair weather friends here. Besides, the building would make a good homeless shelter or lockup for illegal aliens.

10) All Americans must go to charm and beauty school. That way, no one can call us "Ugly Americans" any longer. The Language we speak is ENGLISH...learn it...or LEAVE...Now, isn't that a winner of a plan?

"The Statue of Liberty is no longer saying 'Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses.' She's got a baseball bat and she's yelling, 'you want a piece of me?' "

Wishing y’all a "Great Evening!"

Do as I say not as I do! I know that for me I want to help

others but have a hard time asking for help for me. Here

for probably the same reasons as you, maybe.

I hope that you are doing better soon, I hate to think

of you as being down or troubled, but it does happen

to the best of us :)!

Take care and many hugs to you.

On unclaimed.org after you click to search for property scroll down to see then after you click on areas you think you might have money (including in Canada) scroll down again. Looks like nothing came up after you click but has and if your scroll down you can see. First link does a nationwide search. Might take your mind off things.

Pink Dress

The Pink Dress

There was this little girl sitting by herself in the park.
Everyone passed by her and never stopped to see why she looked so sad.
Dressed in a worn pink dress, barefoot and dirty, the girl just sat
and watched the people go by.

She never tried to speak.
She never said a word.
Many people passed by her, but no one would stop.

The next day I decided to go back to the park in curiosity to see
if the little girl would still be there.
Yes, she was there, right in the very spot where she was
yesterday, and still with the same sad look in her eyes.

Today I was to make my own move and walk over to the little girl.
For as we all know, a park full of strange people is not a place
for young children to play alone.

As I got closer I could see the back of the little girl's dress.
It was grotesquely shaped.
I figured that was the reason people just passed by and made no
effort to speak to her.

Deformities are a low blow to our society and, heaven forbid if
you make a step toward assisting someone who is different.
As I got closer, the little girl lowered her eyes slightly to
avoid my intent stare.
As I approached her, I could see the shape of her back more
clearly.

She was grotesquely shaped in a humped over form.

I smiled to let her know it was OK; I was there to help, to talk.
I sat down beside her and opened with a simple, "Hello."
The little girl acted shocked, and stammered a "hi"; after a long
stare into my eyes.

I smiled and she shyly smiled back.
We talked until darkness fell and the park was completely empty.
I asked the girl why she was so sad.

The little girl looked at me with a sad face said, "Because, I'm
different."
I immediately said, "That you are!"; and smiled.
The little girl acted even sadder and said, "I know."

"Little girl," I said, "you remind me of an angel, sweet and
innocent."

She looked at me and smiled, then slowly she got to her feet and
said,

"Really?"

"Yes, you're like a little Guardian Angel sent to watch
over all people walking by."
She nodded her head yes, and smiled.

With that she opened the back of her pink dress and allowed her
wings to spread, then she said "I am."
"I'm your Guardian Angel," with a twinkle in her eye.

I was speechless -- sure I was seeing things.
She said, "For once you thought of someone other than yourself.
My job here is done".

I got to my feet and said, "Wait, why did no one stop to help an
angel?"

She looked at me, smiled, and said, "You're the only one that
could see me," and then she was gone.

And with that, my life was changed dramatically.

So, when you think you're all you have, remember, your angel is
always watching over you.

Like the story says, we all need someone...

And, every one of your friends is an Angel in their own way.
The value of a friend is measured in the heart.

I hope your Guardian Angel watches over you always.
