Wow..."MY AUTHENTIC SELF"..... that's nice to know.
I would send my writings into a magazine, it gave me chance to "share" my most intimate feelings with other people that "appreciated" my thoughts

Being a victim of "ABUSE" throughout
my childhood, writing gave me a chance to put my "thoughts" and "fears" on paper. It
was own "private time" when I was locked in my room every day.
I was not able to have any "friends" and when my mother would have her friends over I was not allowed to be around them either.

When we moved to another house when I was in the third grade,
I was only allowed to
sit in a screened in porch while other children were playing
in an open lot in front
of our house.

At that time, my only way to cope with
all of that was to write "poems" and "songs" while listening to a radio. It was my "escape" plan from
the "reality" of my mother's "dominating" and "posssessive"
ways that I know I could not get away from.

That was a "CHAPTER"
In my "life" that I was able to use "COPING SKILLS" under the circumstances.

Now I am "blessed" to have a chance to start another "CHAPTER" in my "life" being "ACCEPTED" for who I am through all the "thoughts" and "feelings" that I am
able to "SHARE" with all of you.

Again "THANK YOU"
for such a warm "WARM WELCOME" in this
"SAFE PLACE" with people I am "comfortable" with "SHARING" my "past"
without being judged.

cake....oh I forgot to include mine...it is "Chocolate Oreo

And our "favorite" songs.....mine that I already mentioned is "From This Moment On"

I thought we could "share" some of our "favorite" movies.....

And "Ghost".

If you have a chance.......go to any book store or order online WRITERS MARKET 2009  It gives name and addresses of all magazines agents etc  and the amount of $$$$$ they will pay you for your articles.  Per words etc.  I think it even tells you how they want it IE double space,  14 inch font couirier news  stuff like that!

 

 

How to write a querry letter etc.  I think the book is like $29.95

My family likes to drink "wine" that both my husband and I make every year. In fact, we are picking up the grapes this weekend like we
do at this time every year. It is so "rewarding" drinking what we make!

I just got on this "messageboard" only a few days ago and I like "sharing" with the people here. I am just learning myself like you.

Is there really a chance that we won't be able to post on here?

         I went to see why I hadn't gotten my sewage bill today because I've always had it by the first at the other house. Since my water wasn't turned on here until the 19th of last month they haven't sent out the bill yet. While I was at city hall I went over to the engineers office to see where I could go to get my house inspected. They were astonished at the problems I'm having! They told me I would have to go to my Realtor! The person who inspected my house is a very good friend of my Realtor's BOSS!!! My Realtor didn't get one penny from the sell of this house because HE PAID for everything the sellers said they would pay for but didn't!!!! They told me that if my Realtor didn't make things right I would have to sue them! So I think I may have to put the house back on the market, I certainly can't live here without Hot Water, it's getting colder and boiling water for luke warm baths isn't going to cut it when the temps drop down to single digits!!!!! IF ONLY lightening would strike and burn this place down to the ground!!!! I can't even THINK of trying to get a job right now!!!  I feel so filthy,even though I try to bathe, I wouldn't hire me so how could I expect anyone else to? I'm once again feeling HOPELESS!!!! If only I could disappear into the darkness every one would be better off.
