dont´t worry

Quote From: nekocats2

Hi.  I haven't spoke to you yet.  I hope you don't think I have been rude.  That is not me.

If I have been, I am sorry.

I see you are from Denmark.  I wish I could go there some day.  I bet it is beautiful.  What does it look like?  What is it like?  I would love to know.  I wish to travel to other places in my lifetime.  I had the wonderful opportunity to live in Germany for one year.  I loved it.  It is beautiful and the people were great.  I learned to speak some German.  In fact, I took my translation book with me everywhere.  I never expected someone to speak English to me.  I expected myself to speak the best German I could to them.  Hey, it is their country.  I respected that.

What language do you speak there?  I know this sounds like a silly question, but, I am curious.

Hope to chat.

Wish you the best.

Neko/Vickie

Hi Vickie! Don´t worry I don´t think you´re rude - in fact I bet you´re a wonderful person.

Denmark is a very small country with about five´ million inhabitants - in Northern Europe. We have no mountains but a beautiful coastline. Our neighbour countries are Germany, Sweden and Norway. The native language is Danish. The language in Denmark, Norway and Sweden is similar so if I speak Danish to a person from Norway or Sweden or if they speak Norwegian or Swedish to me we can still understand each other.

Denmark is a great country to live in - we have a great welfare policy - school policy etc. - some foreigners think we are a bit reserved - and maybe we are - it´s hard to say.

Hope to hear from you again!

Take care

Just wanted to say:

                                                                                Enjoy weekend

Take care!

That watermelon looks good. It is supposed to get up to 24 today warm enough for watermelon.

The company that Andre works for moved their office yesterday, so I went over to the new office after work, then we went and hung out at friends(they all work at the same place). Just going to do stuff around the house and yard today and then go over to friends again tonight. Finally a weekend that we are doing something instead of sitting on the couch watching tv. I still think something is up, because I really doubt he heard me the other night when I said that we are going to spend some time together.

Hope you have a good weekend

I do not know what 24 weather temp means where you live, but it sounds cool to me. Than again, where I live it was 119 degrees yesterday and it’s supposed to get a little warmer today. LOL!

Sounds like you are going to have an active weekend. Try not to think about any doubts you feel and enjoy your time together living in the moment. However, I know from personal experience, letting go of any reason for doubt is probably one of the worse feelings we have to live with. It is like the cliché, "I’m just waiting for the other shoe to drop." All I have to  say about that  is don’t waste your time on something that may never happen.

and a fabulous evening together.

Whazzup Fuzzy123

Quote From: fuzzy123

Hey Yall,
Oh Finally, I am on the mends. No more of those "is she going to live?" coughs. I am feeling soooo much better. I am acctually getting sleep now. Makes a person feel not so depressed once health is better.
Ahhh... the weekend. It has been a long time since I've had a weekend off.
My work schedule has changed. Our clinic doesn't want to be open on Saturdays anymore. That left me with 2 choices. Start working Monday-Friday or have a 4 day work week.
I chose the 4 day work week. The only problem is that my work week is now 38.5hr/week instead of the typical 40. (with overtime you would never have guessed---11hrs straigh, no lunch, no break today)
I did the math and I'm not going to be loosing that much money. I don't think I'll even notice.
What is getting me sooooooo frustrated is that NO ONE is happy for me. I have a schedule that I like....
And maybe I'll be able to get better...I am sooooooo sick physically, mentally, and emotionally.
No one understands that. It is soooooo hard to deal with all the ridicule.
It's my life... why won't people let ME live it?????
P
Hi fuz. So glad to hear that you are on the mend and cough took a hike and that you are feeling soooo much better. Another answered prayer of ours here. We are chalking up quite a few answered prayers here lately. Nice to know you will have a weekend off. I have worked the no breaks and no lunch before and family likely projecting onto you their aggravation since illegal to do employees that way...in United States anyway. Plus, not healthy. If a family member or friend I knew was being done that way it'd aggravate me and it might seem like I was mad at person. Yet, instead, wouldn't be mad at person I cared about and just sad someone I cared about being taken advantage of.

The good thing about when I worked the way that you are was went out to eat right afterwards with a good friend and lost weight and had ten I could lose. The bad thing is very hard on you and takes it's toll eventually and if you don't need to lose weight not good. Plus, sort of messes up your digestion skipping meals. Did mine anyway. Eat a nice breakfast before going in and have some healthy snack items to eat and drink. Even better, take your lunch "and" breaks if at all possible. You are right, though, your life. We all sometimes get our toes stepped on by employers so say "OUCH" so you get your breaks and lunch and you don't get burned out.

This is not meant as ridicule because if I was younger and not eating on breaks or lunch anyway and could get paid over time to skip... I might skip lunch. Breaks, however, I thought that two fifteen minute breaks are supposed to be included in your pay I. Not ridiculing and just thinking and caring. Whatever works works and you are you, I am me, we are we and those who you care about are those who care about you. Oh well, you are really sharp and know what you are doing. Glad you feel better and enjoy your weekend. HOORAY!!! fuzzy123 has a weekend to enjoy and that's worth A LOT. Enjoy all that $$$money$$$ you are raking in too. May the force of happiness be with you. (((HUGs and PRAYERs))) xoxoxo SEA

Tina, you are often thought about and missed when not here. Yet I know Tama and others here, as much as I do, just beam with a big smile when you stop by with your good news. You do support us as even when you are not here for we are thinking about you and rooting you on in our thoughs. While thinking "you can do it" we think, hey, we can keep on keeping on too (at whatever level we are at). And... reach a few goals ourselves. When you stop by we all get to get out our pom poms and say, "Hooray Tina!!!" cheering you on and hoping the best for you. You bring a smile with you and I am wearing mine right now and feels good. Thank you. (((HUGs and PRAYERs))) YYC aka SEA

Good For You Tina...

Quote From: tina83

Hi, How are you guys doing?  Good I hope, I'm sorry I really don't come around much yet I know your all here.  Well just wanted to let you know that yesterday was my anniversary I made it 2years & 1 month as of yesterday.  It has been really tough lately yet I just cannot let myself slip not after this long, last time I cut scared me enough where I know that can't be good I can't give up & I can't let anyone be the one to let me slip up. I don't know if I told you but I went to see a counselor bout' a week ago, I've seen her before, I met her after my last hospital visit, she's nice & all but I don't know whether to trust her enough where she can actually help me.  Or like right now go with what she thinks is my problems & issues.  I'm not going for myself, right now I'm only doing it for someone else cuz they think it will do me good & I know they got my best interest at heart.  Last time I saw her was the first time in like almost 2 years.  I didn't tell her much afterall it's just basically where you kinda make out a plan.  I don't want to go back but I promised I'd give it a couple times which turned into 3 she said 2 just ain't enough.  I don't know right now I don't see how she can help me.  But everyone else sees it different so i'm in.  I've been walking lately & today I walked almost 4 miles it felt good ususally just about 2 miles but I needed to go farther today because it was a hard day so was last night.  I just keep going, Thanks for reading this.....Take CAre.

CONGRATULATIONS AND HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO YOU!

I think if you've gone this long without incident, your chances of going back to the same behavior is slim to none.  You can be very encouraging and inspirational to other's that are trying to end this behavior.

Talk care and best wishes to you.

I am so glad to hear you are on the mend.    Having the weekend off is a good thing and I hope you enjoy every minute of it.

If I were you I wouldn't worry about what other people think.  That is their opinion and is not your really.  It's all about them and it sounds like they may be a little jealous of what you have achieved, so they ridicule you in order to sabotage you good feelings of self worth.  Just ignore them and live your life to the fullest.  HMO.

Take care of you my friend.

THANK-YOU

Quote From: lonalea200

I say...GOOD JOB !!!!!!! For You!!) ) ))))))))) Way to go !  Taking care of yourself is much more important than anything else.  You are the only person who knows yourself best and if that is what you have to do, then that is what you have to do. Please don't fret over what others think, so what if they don't understand, while they are slave-working, you could be lying on the beach (or something similer), and can rub it in their face telling them " they had the choice too". Go....enjoy your time to yourself, you deserve it !!!!!   I am sure it is time well earned.  Good job !!!  Great Decision !!!)))))))))

Liz

I just wanted to THANK-YOU for your post

It brought a smile to my face.
Thank-You again.
Its nice that someone else see's it my way :D

It has been a busy day.

Quote From: tina83

Thank you so much, you are really awesome really self less people I appreciate everything you say & think bout' me...but know that I always think about you & how your all doing even when I don't post.
I made a blueberry plus a mixed berry cobbler. I have a roast in the oven and I am about to put in some red potatoes, carrots and onions. I am making dinner for Lynn to take over to his mother's. A roast that was too heavy for her to lift. I was going to take back over and just make there yet she had plumbing problems this a.m. So....smelling good here today. I am sending the mixed berry cobber over with Lynn. Both cobblers turned out perfectly. Cooking for others is a bit intense just hoping everything turns out okay. So far so good.

Last weekend I almost got an antique piano for $45 yet no way to get here. On last days of Estate sales often things are 75 percent off. This weekend my neighbor wanted to stop by a garage sale nearby where I live. Out of the blue when we walked up the man said..."I have a piano I want to show you." Amazing grace...in better condition than the other and the other in good condition. This one in mint condition and a Cable...not familiar with and about to look up online. He'd take $100 for it yet moving it is another problem. I am still thinking about it. Usually costs about $50 to have a piano moved so still a good deal. Having a lot of dental work done so...mostly I just go to garage sales to look for nostalgic reasons to save $$$. Piano owner has sold house and doesn't want to move. I told him that's what Dr. Phil says, to sell what you can live without to avoid moving nightmares. He straightened up like, "Yes, Dr. Phil and us men are smart movers." A nice family and I used to enjoy walking past their house on holidays.

Oh well, our neighborhood association just called and needs my help and are on their way over. My 84 year old neighbor retired and nominated me block captain. A pretty big organization and duty calls so I'm off... Hugs and prayers and ALWAYS great to see you, Tina... I hope you enjoy your walks as much as I enjoy mine. Give yourself a big hug from us all and catch all the blessings prayed your way, Tina. (((HUGs))) YYC aka SEA
