You’ve seen her take Dr. Phil’s hand after every show and walk him off stage. You’ve heard her input on parenting, empty nest syndrome and menopause. Today, Robin shares the stage with Dr. Phil to celebrate the release of her debut book Inside My Heart: Choosing to Live with Passion and Purpose. Follow Robin’s poignant journey as she travels back to her childhood roots and gives a glimpse into the life-changing moments that helped her become an empowered woman. She talks candidly about her father’s alcohol addiction, and also about her mother’s tragic death. Then, five of Robin’s biggest fans are waiting backstage and have no idea what’s in store for them! Plus, meet a young woman who says she regrets becoming a mother and thinks about just walking away. Robin gives her advice on coping with post-pregnancy blues. And, actress Morgan Fairchild helps Robin kick off a very important campaign for women! Talk about the show here.

Touched

Thank you and Robin for the time you spend on real issues. I picked up a copy of Robin's book and am over half done. i needed to read it, you see my younger sister just had a double mastectomy and is facing chemo, she is 47. Mom has MS, one lung was removed 4 years ago, she broke her foot a couple of months ago and is healing slowly. Added stress is not good for her. Thanks again for the book, it helps me understand and see clearly why some decisions were made in my parents life.

Robin is an inspiration

I watch the Dr. Phil show every day that I am home and try and get home in time so that I don't miss it. I do wish you the best for your book, Robin. Whoever said something negative concerning the way that you dress is wrong. I always keep my channel on your station to see you walk off the stage with Dr. Phil just to see what you are wearing. Then of course, I click to my other fav, Oprah. Love You Dee

Lots of kudos to Robin!!!

I just hope the staff isn't editing/deleting comments deemed unflattering. That would be unfair and unbalanced.

Your book is GREAT!!

You are a great writer and very insightful.  It was a joy to settle back and read it cover to cover.  Reading it was like watching you on television - as I read I could just see you as if you were just sitting there talking to me.  The song playing on the show that day was great - you are simply the best!!!

I don't think so, that one comment about the way she dressed is on there. Of course I don't agree with that. I think she looked great in what she wore, and wears for that matter.

I agree with you about her appearance.  Maybe I missed it, but I didn't hear any expressions of gratitude from Robin during her whole show to anyone--not her family, husband, or whomever--for a lifetime of support behind who she has become today.  Seems to me that's basic.  I'd like to see her be an example to other wives' of the importance of that.

09/12 Inside My Heart

I have been a Dr. Phil fan since his days on Oprah. I saw the Inside My Heart show and decided to buy Robin's book. I have read it from cover to cover and I just wanted to say that my opinion of Robin has changed dramatically. She is so much more down-to-earth and sincere than I ever imagined! It was such a great read. Her boundless energy is evident on every page. I love her spunk and throughly enjoyed it. After reading it, I came away not just liking Robin, but loving her!

I think that's a given if you're asking if she thanked her family for the show.

It's because she takes care of herself. She's against plastic surgery by means of "fixing yourself" unless its an honest and real approach. Her lips looking a little different(which I haven't even noticed) is probably because of the type of lip gloss she uses. Plus, you have to take into account the lighting, makeup, etc.. and there's also the types of bras she wears, lol. That all adds up. It's not like she's gonna roll outta bed and onto the stage!

And if by any chance she's reading this, Jordan's band rocks!!!

I watched the show again and noticed that her lips did look different than earlier shows, like she had a little injection, but a normal, healthy one. It looks great. Nothing at all wrong with that. No different than having a facial. She's awesome!!!

Robin's book  really invites you into her life, her mind ,her soul. Instead of critiqueing a woman who has visuably supported her husband and family over the years..... you should really READ her book! I assure you she is the real deal! Imagine for a moment revealing your personal trials in life for the world to see. She has clearly "rised above her raisin'  "  which is a feat amongst itself in an atomsphere of addiction! She wrote the book quite simply to get  down to basics... to put aside the obstacles life throws at you and do better...set a goal....eduate yourself  and take advantage of what life has to offer! I wish you could have gone with me backstage and met her, talked with her. I have met alot of celebrities and Robin McGraw is an angel! She's so genuine!  I  admire her story, her example , ...her compassion to want better for women like you and me. This is my first posting on the board because I wanted to see what was discussed. Even if you don't LIKE to read you can listen to it on tape! You'll be AMAZED about how down to earth she is...and FUNNY there are parts of the book that made me almost pee my pants laughing and other parts made me want to cry. She invites you INSIDE HER HEART. Robin McGraw  is  MORE THAN WORDS( with regards to the comment  of lack of gratitude) HER ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER! Robin, It was wonderful meeting you...I'm looking forward to a book tour! One of your BIGGEST FANS.
