(Original Air Date: 09/20/06) Have you ever wanted revenge on an ex-lover? How far would you go? First, look inside a legal battle that has been brewing all summer. Tasha, creator of the Web site DontDateHimGirl.com, says her site is a public forum for women to share their dating experiences and tell the "truth" about their exes. Todd says false information about him was posted on Tasha's site, and he thinks she should be liable for the negative posts. He has filed a lawsuit against her and two of the women who posted. When they face off for the first time, who does Dr. Phil think is right? Then, Ashley found out her boyfriend, Corey, had cheated on her three times during their 10-month relationship. Now, she says she wants to get revenge by exposing him to the world. So why did she recently call Corey and beg for sex? And, Corey comes clean with Ashley and tells her how he really feels. Talk about the show here.

Find out what happened on the show.

Footnote

OK....so my solution to this dilemna is....if the guy feels so strongly about this, why not send in proof or come to some compromise so that the site administrator would add a footnote giving a disclaimer that proof had been given disputing it (for example proof there was no herpes).  If the site administrator is REALLY not there to take sides, then on damaging information given, if there is proof given (especially since his picture is being shown and the woman's isn't) then some sort of disclaimer or compromise could take place.  Honestly, it doesn't have to all be black and white.  I was always taught that compromise is key to most circumstances in life and if everyone is adult enough and honest enough, then this shouldn't happen.  I think that some of the guys written about on the site are deserving of what is written, but I also think that there are quite a few that are just feeling the brunt of a scorned woman and their "interpretation" of what happened or are just vindictive when it isn't warranted.

Now, I have been wronged a couple of times before, and I would love to think I could write something on that site, but after I took the time and got over him and the situation a bit, I realized that would be childish and would just amount to me being childish and stooping to his level.

I could argue it both ways....I am just glad to be in a happy fulfilling relationship and don't have to be worrying about that stuff any more.

Good luck to all!

Laughing all the way to the bank

What a refreshing change - someone exploiting a bad situation and vulnerable people to make a buck.  Why are we outraged when it happens to the victims of 9/11, but not in this case?

me thinks he doth protest too much

Todd seemed extremely angry about the postings about himself and his reputation.  Perhaps if he had behaved as a gentleman with the women he dated, and not the arrogant attorney he appears to be, he could spend more time defending his clients and not his reputation.

Tasha needs to have the people posting to the site identify themselves....not for the "victim" but to ensure that Tasha is not the author of the postings.  Let's face it, we all have a right to the freedom of speech, and that includes email postings.

Can't wait to hear the results of the lawsuit....frivolous as it may be.

How many women have been damaged by what men say?

Seems to me that the fact is that women have always paid a much higher price in relationships then man ever had - the man cheats - the other woman is blamed, the wife is blamed, they battle each other, almost always based on what these men say about each of them.  When a man plays the field - hits on all the girls from 17 yr olds to 30 yr olds - he is let off, like he never made any kind of commitment, if a woman does it, she is the bad person, who has no self-respect.

If the men on dontdatehimgirl.com never did anything to these ladies, they would have no reason to post negative things about them.  Sure some of the stuff may not be true - so what - this is like a warning - women aren't going to take the stuff that men dish out anymore - at least not quietly.

If I noticed one thing about the Todd interview thing, it was this, that he was arrogant, and OBVIOUSLY is more disturbed that it is a WOMAN taking him down... as he said "WOMEN SHOULDN'T BE ALLOWED" well, MEN shouldn't be allowed to screw up women emotionally either... or do women still not matter?

09/20 Revenge of the Exes

True enough. And these gossipy, nasty-hearted, vengeful women who are out to destroy men they feel have slighted them should at least have the giblets to use their NAMES when posting to this trash-the-guy site.
.......NOT TO MENTION THE FACT THAT MANY WOMEN CAN POST WHATEVER UNTRUE TRASH THAT THEY WANT JUST BECAUSE THEY WANT TO - THERE'S QUITE A FEW LOOSE CANNONS OUT THERE.

I don't know maybe or maybe not

Ladies...wow, angry much?  I have been cheated on, abused, manipulated....like most of us, I have my war stories and yes....I absolutely don't have sympathy for the men on today's show.  But lets step back a bit and not contribute to the Glen Close stereotype and boil a rabbit!!!  There is absolutely a case and I agree with his lawsuit!!!!!  Why, because...Make a website where each of us can post our stories, but NO NAMES....why because if that was your son, brother, nephew...etc YOU WOULD BE PISSED!!!  I wouldn't want someone in a emotional crazy state to upload my picture and personal information because I hurt them.  If these woman want to get more personal, then let them exchange emails or whatever with other woman and then give the details or if they want to upload personal information, that is only 1 SIDE and emotionally skewed, then they have to use all their personal information too.  The lawsuit wasn't started by a child molester, rapist, or abuser...so unless we are talking extremes don't throw stones unless you have a shield to block the ones coming back at you!!
I had a boy friend for 2 years and when we were together he didn't cheet on me but then he asked me to marry him I told him yes and then after one mouth he left me and a few years latter I got a latter from him saying that he was getting married and was asking me to come to see him get married I told him where to go and how to get there and not to take any short cuts I was angery and yes I did think about getting back at him because I had put in 2 years and 1 mouth in our relayshionship but I am no longer upset because it has ben over 10 years but yes I have thought  a lot about getting even with my Ex

Tasha Is WRONG!

I think Tasha's website should be taken down. If it were her being bashed on the internet, she wouldn't like it. She is obviously a woman SCORNED, outherwise, why would she put up a sight to bash men. I really Hope that Todd wins in court!

Stupid and immature!

I can't believe a woman who appears to be intelligent would create such a stupid website! If you go to her website today it says she was bashed by Dr Phil. She needs to be bashed by someone!!! Those of you who think the man doesn't have the basis to a lawsuit................put yourself  in his place and how would you like to see your name dirtied in public just because you broke up with someone of the opposite sex?? Break-ups happen, people should just move on. As a teacher I had to stop a group of teenage girls when I overheard them advising each other to "claim" that some boy acted inappropriately, saying that "they always believe the girl". What are we teaching our children?? That it's okay to get even with someone if they don't do what you want them to do? A man would be crazy to date the woamn who created the website, if he isn't her puppet then he runs the risk of being posted to the site. I am female, have had my share of bad relationships before being married (for 21 years now!) and I would never go on a site like this one and post the dirty laundry or hurt some guy because of something he supposedly did. How do you know if all of these women even ever met this guy, or are they just bashing him because someone else started it and they jumped on the bandwagon. It's websites like her's that give the Internet a bad name. What an immature, stupid and mean way to be. She needs to get a life, ALONE. I hope he wins!

not tasha's fault or responsibility

i feel bad for todd to a point, i hate that he feels his reputation has been ruined by the comments made by ex's on the website. Saying that, I don't feel like Tasha is to blame for the comments. Maybe nexttime he dates someone he will be more careful and respectful of their feelings, if not he may see his name again on the website.

Quote From: wankyd

don't you wonder what he did on the date to make a woman so angry that she goes home and gets on a website to write about it, telling other women not to date him?
don't you ever wonder what she did that made him treat her that way?  Seems like this extreme bashing from people is just hateful.  People need to get over it and not give any jerk the time of day - men or woman - just move on - they are not worth it.    This Tasha - I can see how she could manipulate a man and then really snap the whip.  She's not to be trusted.
