(Original Air Date: 09/20/06) Have you ever wanted revenge on an ex-lover? How far would you go? First, look inside a legal battle that has been brewing all summer. Tasha, creator of the Web site DontDateHimGirl.com, says her site is a public forum for women to share their dating experiences and tell the "truth" about their exes. Todd says false information about him was posted on Tasha's site, and he thinks she should be liable for the negative posts. He has filed a lawsuit against her and two of the women who posted. When they face off for the first time, who does Dr. Phil think is right? Then, Ashley found out her boyfriend, Corey, had cheated on her three times during their 10-month relationship. Now, she says she wants to get revenge by exposing him to the world. So why did she recently call Corey and beg for sex? And, Corey comes clean with Ashley and tells her how he really feels. Talk about the show here.

Find out what happened on the show.

Don't date him....

I think the internet site is a good idea.  There are too many men out there using women.  If they fear woman will share their bad experiences with other women, maybe men will think twice before they cheat or otherwise cause harm to a woman.  However, I can also see how such a tool can be misused, causing damage to an innocent man.

I feel  that the people running the site are not liable, as they are not the ones writing the text.  If there is to be a law suit, I feel the man must find who wrote any slanderous text and sue that person.......He should know who he has ticked off...unless of course he has several woman he is seeing at once.  If that is the case he is just asking for trouble.

If the courts were to find the owners of the site at fault, it will open a whole can of worms.  You could even be found guilty if something one us writes in on your site offends someone else.  Now wouldn't  that be rediculous?

Wow

Quote From: doob24

Is the young lady who created this website for real?  My suggestion would be for the young man who is suing her, to create a website about her consulting business, and have people anonymously post derogatory comments about her character/business.  Maybe then she would get a clue what she is doing to people's lives.

Doesn't that seem a bit immature as well?

Todd / Tasha

I couldn't believe this woman, she looked so angelic at first...  she is hell bent on destroying people.  One wrong man or woman doesn't make a person evil for the rest of it's life.  I totally side with Todd.

Shame on those women!

Those 3 made women in general look like pit-bulls. To all 3 of them: have you never made a mistake in your life? The Bible says that whowever is free of sin can throw the 1st stone, I bet you have some skeletons in your closets too. I can't believe the one lady who admitted to be part of the sex triangle was accusing him but didn't ditch the dirt on herself on the web.

The woman who is being sued should be ashamed of herself: she was cheated on SEVERAL years ago and still drags the memory of that incident by punishing men she doesn't even know or knows if they did what some "ghost" women claim they did! I felt for the man because like he said, this could affect his complete life and it isn't fair for his children and current partner, and family who had nothing to do with what he did, if he did do it.

The young girl...she asked for it when she went back the 3rd time. I think when she was cheated on the 1st time, it was easy to believe he is sorry for his poor behavior but to go back again, after he did it a second time!?!?!

As far as that cheap shots website goes: ...THE LAND OF THE FREE AND THE HOME OF THE BRAVE. But, remember: what goes around comes around...

I'm single...the site was helpful

I hear all the talk about lack of fairness about the site, but it's simply a resource.  I miss the resource!  It appears to be down now...  Used it successfully twice!

Oh no, what ever shall we do???

Okay, I have read some of the posts here and a lot of you seem to be leaning more towards Todd's side.

Let me explain something......

I don't think there is anything wrong with the site she has (btw) a right to put up. I think it's cool that women have a place to vent, we are the ones that tend to be more emotional when it comes to break ups.

Who cares if he has had a few bad words towards him. There are more people out there that have had worse things said about them in worse ways.  If everyone in the world started suing each other for things that were written about them, EVERYBODY would be doing it, EVERYONE.

Look at the celebrities that have to deal with that on a regualar DAILY basis. All you have to do is just turn the other cheek, if you know its not true then its not true. But if your being extremely defensive like our friend Todd here then you might want to rethink  weither or not its actually true that he has herpes! In my experience with people, the ones who are defensive tend to have things to hide and maybe his hidden secrets have been revealed.

Suing for things like this is ridiculous and hilarious. It's childish!

I have had bad things said and written about me in school, from bullies, should I sue them????

Really Todd unless you have some security or self esteem issues this is not something to sue about. It really seems that your doing this because a few girls turned you down for sex. Welcome to life...

revenge of the exes

I don't feel its right to distroy lives, unless you know the facts to be true,  when you post lies about someone on the internet, I feel your worse than anyone, you may brake up a family over lies, however if you know the facts to be true, then your doing the right thing, but then the only way you would know the facts to be true is if you are the one living it.

Give Me A Break

I think that both Todd and Tasha are WRONG!  Tasha and the women who post their slander (though I'm sure their stories are correct) should stop being triflin' and just move on and have a good life.  And Todd should take better care to stop "dogging" women.  Todd, in speaking with a member of the studio audience who posted her story, told her that she should "think" before she acts when she is angry.  With that said, Todd should THINK before HE decides to mistreat women.  After all, there is nothing like a woman scorned!  This website wouldn't exist if people would simply treat each other with honesty, respect , and dignity....the way we all would like to be treated.

There is no recourse

I do not know if Todd is the heel that his Ex says he is or not.  My concern is this, Tasha is trying to ensure that he has no recourse. "It's not my job.." she says. This is a place women can come and talk and tell about their ex-boyfriends, husbands, etc. If someone can come on her site and slander someone that she feels wronged her, and do in anonymously while posting his name and picture then I feel the site needs to be held responsible.

If the "man" cannot get the post removed whether true or not, or cannot reply and post the woman's name, picture, and sexual abilities, then despite Tasha's defense of freedom of speech she's chosen to ignore someone's right to privacy. It's one thing when the posts can be challenged, but totally another thing when it can be posted as fact and the "man" can just go learn to deal with it!

Tasha's site totally wrong

Both sexes have relationships that dont work for one reason or another. thats no reason to publicly trash anyone. Tasha  only created this  site for the money. Someone in her past should publish stuff about her that would really hurt and tarnish her reputation and she would see what its like to be in Todd's shoes. There is other ways of earning a living Tash..lose the site.
