(Original Air Date: 09/20/06) Have you ever wanted revenge on an ex-lover? How far would you go? First, look inside a legal battle that has been brewing all summer. Tasha, creator of the Web site DontDateHimGirl.com, says her site is a public forum for women to share their dating experiences and tell the "truth" about their exes. Todd says false information about him was posted on Tasha's site, and he thinks she should be liable for the negative posts. He has filed a lawsuit against her and two of the women who posted. When they face off for the first time, who does Dr. Phil think is right? Then, Ashley found out her boyfriend, Corey, had cheated on her three times during their 10-month relationship. Now, she says she wants to get revenge by exposing him to the world. So why did she recently call Corey and beg for sex? And, Corey comes clean with Ashley and tells her how he really feels. Talk about the show here.

Find out what happened on the show.

why are they upset?

Tasha has the right to operate her website.  I'm sure there are some men on the website that have become the victim of an angry, mistreated woman who blew things out of proportion or just simply fabricated information.  And I do not agree with a woman posting half-truths or things they find weird about her ex (ie- quirky sex habits).  THAT SAID-  if a man cheats and lies (not the little, white kind), why shouldn't women warn each other of his behavior so others can stay clear of these guys????  Thankfully, I no longer have to deal with the dating world but when I did in college, I appreciated a girlfriend giving me a heads-up about the cheating ways of someone I may have been interested in.  These men have the right to answer back if they want- but I'm guessing they don't because they know they cheated- and have absolutely no defense... they're guilty.   I did some weird "revenge-like" things in my youth (and helped others execute some pretty nasty things as well) and it is quite stupid and a waste of time.  Not to mention you then look completely unstable.  If you feel the need for revenge, keep a favorite item of his when the "exchange of property" happens (a t-shirt works best) .  Then get some wine, go outside and burn it with some girlfriends- BOY did that feel good!

'bout time

This is a great website. Todd says that once something is on the internet, it's there forever. So when he trash talks someone, that just goes away? It's not just Todd. Guys trash talk to each other about women they have dated.  Turnabout is fair play.  How is this different?

Tasha

Quote From: jazzyj1959

She obviously has issues in her past that she needs to deal with.  To have a site that allows women to slam men because they were harmed.  I was harmed in a couple of relationships but I learned how to love myself and to know how to look for a decent man.

Just my thoughts.

Tasha didn't write this.. Obviously she doesn't have the issues if she did she would have posted things herself!

Put up or shut up

If women are going to put a picture of a x, to make sure they are telling the truth, they should put their picture up also, and their name if they are going to use the name of the x.This site would be helpful if a x was HIV and you were trying to protect the public.I lived with my x 2 yrs.and married 14 yrs.he left me and I haven't worked since 1998,I was very hurt to say the lease. What I want is a better life,I can be just as happy as he is,maybe happier. So hold up your head and go on we never know what tomorrow wild bring

09/20 Revenge of the Exes

I think the women posting these men on the internet need to get a life. They are acting like teenagers.  They need to move on with their life and get over it. And to all the other women reading these postings how do you know if it is true or not. Maybe some of the woman are trashing these guys just because they got dumped or some other silly reason. I belive that there should be a website for women who have gotten hurt and they can chat with other women that have been in that position, but i do not believe that a persons name and picture should be posted for the world to see.  The did not do anything illegal therefore they should not be treated like crimanals. i have been cheated on myself and when i was a teenager i wanted to get revenge, but now its in the past and the past should be left in the past.

big girl panties

this is in response to today's revenge of the exes show. I think that the website that Tasha has created is ridiculous! I think these women need to put thier big girl panties on and suck it up. There are probably just as many women doing this to men but you don't see them bashing women on the internet. Not to mention this is life, and you take the good with the bad and learn the lessons which come from the bad. If you don't you'll never learn to move on and be miserable for a long time. The man on today's show had a good point this could hurt his career, family, and life in general. Can these women really sleep at night knowing they are potentially destroying someone else's life just because they were not the woman of choice? Have they ever heard the saying two wrongs don't make a right? Thier life must be pretty sad if they don't have anything better to do than bash men on the internet. You can't tell me they actually get something out of it. If they do they need counseling to deal with deeper issues they've got inside that probably no man could satisfy or any women for that fact.Grow up girls getting cheated on isn't the end of the world!

09/20 Revenge of the Exes

Quote From: cjmanion

Todd seemed extremely angry about the postings about himself and his reputation.  Perhaps if he had behaved as a gentleman with the women he dated, and not the arrogant attorney he appears to be, he could spend more time defending his clients and not his reputation.

Tasha needs to have the people posting to the site identify themselves....not for the "victim" but to ensure that Tasha is not the author of the postings.  Let's face it, we all have a right to the freedom of speech, and that includes email postings.

Can't wait to hear the results of the lawsuit....frivolous as it may be.

Carrie

Freedom of speech does not give you the right to say untrue things that are inflammatory.  Ever heard of slander and libel.  You can be sued for these things and they are ILLEGAL>

Quote From: lahula

Seems to me that the fact is that women have always paid a much higher price in relationships then man ever had - the man cheats - the other woman is blamed, the wife is blamed, they battle each other, almost always based on what these men say about each of them.  When a man plays the field - hits on all the girls from 17 yr olds to 30 yr olds - he is let off, like he never made any kind of commitment, if a woman does it, she is the bad person, who has no self-respect.

If the men on dontdatehimgirl.com never did anything to these ladies, they would have no reason to post negative things about them.  Sure some of the stuff may not be true - so what - this is like a warning - women aren't going to take the stuff that men dish out anymore - at least not quietly.

If I noticed one thing about the Todd interview thing, it was this, that he was arrogant, and OBVIOUSLY is more disturbed that it is a WOMAN taking him down... as he said "WOMEN SHOULDN'T BE ALLOWED" well, MEN shouldn't be allowed to screw up women emotionally either... or do women still not matter?
You are assuming that Todd did these things he is accused of, and we all know what assume means! I don't think he was arrogant, he was pissed and he has a right to be. If these things were true why do the women do their bashing under anonminity?? Grow up, men can't screw you up emotionally unless you allow it.

Disgusting

I think the woman who owns and operates the website is disgusting. She has no clue who is posting to her site. She doesn't know if the people posting are women who have been hurt or just someone out for revenge against someone they don't like. She has no clue if it's a man posting, an ex-lover, a cousin, a co-worker, etc...and she doesn't care.I think she's been burned and she thrives on causing pain in men's lives without regard to who else it may injure or even if the man is guilty of said 'crimes' .

I find it the entire website and her behaviour appalling.

How dare she give another person an avenue to ruin someone's life. How would she like it if I posted and claimed I was her ex-lover and she had herpes?

I hope that she loses in court and that it costs her as dearly as it has the men who have been attacked on her site.

I am a woman, I have been burned many times...and I am 150% against this woman and her sick site.

09/20 Revenge of the Exes

I really hope this guy Todd wins his lawsuit.  Does Tasha know how dumb she sounds.

People go on all these sites and blogs and say whatever she wants.  And if she were

done like this like Todd is she wouldn't like it at all.  She needs to grow up and act like

a mature adult instead of a child.  Tasha sounds like a child that says I don't have to

take it down if I don't want to..
