(Original Air Date: 09/20/06) Have you ever wanted revenge on an ex-lover? How far would you go? First, look inside a legal battle that has been brewing all summer. Tasha, creator of the Web site DontDateHimGirl.com, says her site is a public forum for women to share their dating experiences and tell the "truth" about their exes. Todd says false information about him was posted on Tasha's site, and he thinks she should be liable for the negative posts. He has filed a lawsuit against her and two of the women who posted. When they face off for the first time, who does Dr. Phil think is right? Then, Ashley found out her boyfriend, Corey, had cheated on her three times during their 10-month relationship. Now, she says she wants to get revenge by exposing him to the world. So why did she recently call Corey and beg for sex? And, Corey comes clean with Ashley and tells her how he really feels. Talk about the show here.

Find out what happened on the show.

Revenge of the Ex's

As I watched this show I felt several emotions to include anger, sympathy and disgust.  I was angry that somone could actually think she is justified in destroying the life of a man, because "someone" says he broke her heart.  My sympathy also goes out to her, because she is in a great deal of pain herself, that is why she is trying to hurt "the men" of the world.  She is still hating from her own past hurts and she is in denial if she says different.  The wedsite is a disgusting disgrace to woman kind.  Ladies...Get Over It...Let It Go.  Life is too short to spend the rest of it calling names, revisiting the pain and trying to make someone pay because the relationship did not last.  I was in a marriage for 32 years, he cheated and cheated again.  I divorced him, took back my own life, and moved on.  I have no desire to revist "what he did" and how much it hurt, everyday for the rest of my life.  I am a bigger person than that, besides why give someone the pleasure of knowing that you still have an emotional link to them.  Let it go...and LIVE.

Well Genious

My point is that he should be upset with the women that wrote this.  How can the website prove it false?
He never stated no I am not gay, NO I am not bi, No I do not have herpes, he hid behind statements like, "Why should I have to give my medical history out? Well Mr Lawyer and  to the poster that I am responding to, why not? You are trying to prove that this may harm you in the future so spill your beans!!

You are assuming!!!

I cannot believe Tasha won't just take off the false accusations against Todd. She didn't argue her case well, she made herself look extremely rude and uncaring. So what if the website is a forum. Be human and understand someone else's point of view.

Hello, excuse me.. you have no idea if those accusations as you call them are true or not, you are only assuming. You cannot force anyone to remove content from their site just because you say it is not true. She did not make any accusations, she only created a forum for this kind of content, which is not against the law. Have you ever wondered why he is not suing the writer herself? Do you not find it odd that he was interested in what car Tasha drove? OR how much monies she  earns from her website?

WHAT?

Quote From: ragtime

its a shame what tasha has put todd through , that web site should be removed or someone should open up website "don't date her"

first of all when someone is upset a person doesn't think straight

i consider this slander and defamation of character

i don't understand how this can be legal

yes we do have the first amendment but a person needs to draw a line somewhere

i believe tasha is using this web site to release some anger from a past relationship

move on get over it

always remember what comes around goes around

You are saying it is a shame what Tasha has put Todd through? Tasha did not put Todd through anything, Todd made his own bed. While you may consider the content slander and defamation of character, Tasha did not commit any of these crimes. You do not understand why Tasha's forum cannot be legal? If you cant understand that you need to educate youself a bit on your freedoms in this country. Your qoute here.. always remember what comes around goes around, um I think Todd is realizing just that.

YOu need to educate yourself.  How do you know that the things posted are true?  Since Todd says they are false and being an attorney, prepared to go to court in front of the same judges he has to see eveyday, I beleive he has all of his ducks lined up, ready to shoot.  Tasha's site is wrong.  If a person could post something like "beware girls of the jerk from the south side of Houston who drives a small red sports car,  ect, ect." would be one thing.  But when you go on line and ID a person, posting his picture, ect.  and then say something about him that may or may not be true, that's where the problem lies.  Just because a person doesn't click with you doesn't mean he won't click with someone else.  Remember, one man's junk is another man's treasure.  But I do hope Dr. Phil will do a follow up show or at least let us know how the posting are lining up for Todd/Tasha.

09/20 Revenge of the Exes

Quote From: greekwoman99

I hope that Tasha wins the lawsuit.  How is this different than anyone telling their story after a breakup?  Everyone tells their version of the story of what happened.  It just so happens that the internet is a larger forum and can reach more people.  In addition, it may prohibit men from cheating if they think they might get caught and have their dirty laundry aired on the information highway.  It's called Freedom of Speech!  I was surprised by Dr. Phil's and the audience's reaction to Tasha and her web site.
Amen!

I'm just curious, objectively speaking.  Let's say I had a website, and my anonymous friend were to post your full name and home town on a website, then begin to accuse you of being a closet Neo-Nazi.  She would then proceed to make the statement that you supplement your income by hanging dolls on nooses and selling them as "Happy Lynchings" Christmas ornaments, and that for $10 extra you add little lights at the feet of the dolls to simulate fire.

My friend is safely anonymous, and I have no idea if these assertions are true or not.  The assumption is based purely on the fact that you only use two periods to space out your declarative statements, vice three (Hello, excuse me.. ), a trait commonly considered the trademark of your average Neo Nazi lynching doll salesperson.

This can neither be proven nor disproven, and I could care less either way.  I'm not responsible for what the average anonymous poster puts there.  My website is also hugely popular and well advertised, easily accessable to many career-related personnel who do research on potential future employees.

Does it matter mow?

09/20 Revenge of the Exes

I'm glad that Todd is suing Tasha, she is a very angry person, you could just tell by the way that she wouldn't let Todd or Dr Phil get a word in edgeways. I think that he should be compensated for all these lies, and, he should also sue the people that posted them.   Bty did they give their names?

09/20 Revenge of the Exes

Quote From: lifepath12

I have been with what in my life I consider the worst ex in the world but I know I am far from alone.

I think everyone who has been in especially bad relationships with an ex would love to get even but I have learned in my life that Happiness IS the Best Revenge.

If you spend all your time figuring out how miserable you would like to make an ex, I believe you haven't let go yet and anger even fades to the question of Why was I even with this Jerk?

I had every right to want to get even but if you DO get any revenge, you have also chose to show that person that he/she is still a factor in your life.

Unfortunately this took me many years to learn that an Ex is and Ex for a reason and they just need to be left alone. Kharma from above does exist. Wait long enough and that will be obvious and if not, who cares and live your own life again.

Amen!
