(Original Air Date: 10/26/06) Backstabbing takes many forms –- lying, spreading gossip and fueling nasty rumors. Dr. Phil’s guests say the ultimate betrayal didn’t come from a stranger, but from their own flesh and blood! Stacy accuses her younger sister, Christy, of being a traitor. She says Christy reported her and her husband to Child Protective Services for allegedly having child porn on the family computer! Christy sticks to her story, and vows to help put her sister and brother-in-law in jail. How far will she go? Stacy’s 16-year-old daughter claims her Aunt Christy is a liar, and says she’s ruining their family. Can these two sisters overcome the conflict between them, or is their relationship at the point of no return? Share your thoughts, join the discussion.

Unbelievable

Doesn't anybody find it strange that the accusers say there were over 20,000 pics of underaged porn on the pc. It's seems unbelievable to me that any official would just let that go because of a "chain of custody" issue. Don't forget, we also have the FBI that is directly related to this topic, and takes these matters extremely seriously. If there was any evidence of ANY child porn, anyone who touched the computer would be investigated, including the sister, her husband, and their "forensic expert."

The whole story just rings untrue!

I hope we get the results soon. I hate waiting on things like this. I will not be able to get it out of my mind till I know the results of the lie detector test. ;-(

As we all know money rules America.

You all seem to be judging the Law Officials by where you yourselves live..... WELL you just can't do that.

The same woman (My husbands ex-wife) whose son I ended up with because he made false accusations on her and his step-father, has a daughter from another marriage.

This daughter was molested by her dad (ex-wife's husband at that time)

When The mom figured out something was wrong (because of the actions her daughter was doing) she brought her to the officials because she really couldn't get the little one to talk about it.

They were EXTREMELY thorough in their investigation from talking with her to actually taking laboratory test on her. When it was over they convicted this man and THREW HIM UNDER THE JAIL!!!

He himself was raped in prison that new of what he had done. THESE PEOPLE that do sick things like this don't just get away from the LAW in TEXAS... please people do some research

My dad doesn't have to anything to prove. The investigators did that for him. You are wrong on two things: 1. My mom and I weren't lying. 2. My dad isn't a good man. He is a GREAT man.

Excuse me? Why would you assume that I am ashamed or afraid? Thanks for your concern about my emotions but honestly I am really tired of Christy butting into our lives. My tears were from frustration and anger at her. I really hope that Dr. Phil will get her help so she will stop lying about my mom and dad.

I find it very unfortunate when people that do not understand the complexities of Information Technology & take things into their own hands, because they may not understand the full implications of what they're doing.
I personally do not believe there was any abuse to the children in the home from their father, but I do not have any doubt in my mind that he posessed & viewed child pronography extensively. The second hard drive is what solidified this accusation. It would have been easy enough for him to download whatever child pornography from any myriad of peer to peer file sharing services, view said materials, shutdown the computer, & unplug the hard drive, so no one would actually view the files unless they knew about the second hard drive being there.
You can show one face to the world & have another in private, as you all know Dr. Phil has shown this on his television show quite often.
Also, I hope for all of you parents & non-parents out here in cyberspace that you can better yourselves & learn more about your computer & the internet for your own security & safety. I hope this post has been informative & helpful.

One thing, Christy didn't just come get their computer......Stacy gave it to her!!!

Second, if he was smart enough to UNPLUG the hard drive.... DON"T you think he might have been smart enough to TAKE the second hard drive out???

He would know it was not needed in there because of unplugging it.... and if he had something on there to be worried about ..... Why would he have allowed it to be taken away before removing the incriminating evidence????

you know what is relly bad here

with the two sisters acting like this twords each other i know there mother has to be getting hurt from all this as well as the rest of the family. i have two sisters not speaking to each other now and its been going on for over a year now bit its not over nothing like this, its over my older sister offering to help my younger sister. and i am not going to say what the help was for out of fear they may read this and know im talikng about them lol i shure as hell dont want a big can of woop ass poped on me by them lol but to get back to my pointmy mother has just finished going through kemo treatment my younger sister only came down to see my mother 1 time since she started taking her cancer treatment and i had to beg like a hobo to get her here then. man was my mother hurt over all this the two would not go in the room at the same time to see our mother.hell and this was over nothing.simpley offering a helping hand,on holidays we dont see the entier family members still living all togather the way a family should be.we are missing out on some relly good quality time here.but what ever the truth of christys and her sister may be i just hope one of them will just say ok enough lets end this fighting lets just get real and be truthful no matter who the truth hurts. the truth will set you free. and stop alot of family members hearts form being hurt any ferther.but i know its not that simple in this case.its not that simple with my 2 sisters.i feel like im befreinding one sis to talk to the other sis and this isnt fair for me. hell i love myentier family why do i have to suffer this way ive done nothing to eather. hell i wasnt even present when all this mess started. but im still the one getting hurt by it just like mom.its not fair to the rest of the family when you have 2 members fighting and making the rest chouse between the two.it cant be done .noone can say ok i beleive youso your not a member of this family anylonger be gone. sorry it just dosent work that way.love is a funny thing.it can make you feel like your on top of the world for 1 sec them make you wish you could just die the next.
