(Original Air Date: 10/26/06) Backstabbing takes many forms –- lying, spreading gossip and fueling nasty rumors. Dr. Phil’s guests say the ultimate betrayal didn’t come from a stranger, but from their own flesh and blood! Stacy accuses her younger sister, Christy, of being a traitor. She says Christy reported her and her husband to Child Protective Services for allegedly having child porn on the family computer! Christy sticks to her story, and vows to help put her sister and brother-in-law in jail. How far will she go? Stacy’s 16-year-old daughter claims her Aunt Christy is a liar, and says she’s ruining their family. Can these two sisters overcome the conflict between them, or is their relationship at the point of no return? Share your thoughts, join the discussion.

What happened to the Lie detector test? Did they pass or fail???

MOVE FAR FAR AWAY!

There is too much venom and anger coming from this sister. There is something much deeper going on. This family needs to move far far away or they will never be over this crazy sister. Do it at once. The allegations have been investigated and the cased closed. Get over it and get on with your own crazy life.

This crazy woman is putting everyone through hell because she believes she grew up in hell. She is treating her sister terrible and she is the one being abusive. Jealously can harbor a lot of evilness in a person. What a sick sick woman. Who is she God? That she can go after the DA and threaten them as well. I would press charges against the crazy woman for civil damages and put her under the jail.

Thank God she's not my sister!!!

I'm not sure that I believed any of what the backstabbing sister Christie was saying about her sister 's family or about her own childhood abuse. I don't believe that if there was really all this evidence of the things that the father was supposed to have the done the DA wouldn't just let something like that go. I also feel that the sister should be able to file a lawsuit against Christie for trying to ruin her reputation as a midwife and if she is so concerned with the children why would she be taking food from there mouths by trying to cause there mother to loose her job!! I just didn't feel that Christie was trying to do anything other than destroy her sisters family out of jealousy and greed (trying to get a book deal). Just my opinion but I would love to see the lie detector results!!

Secondly, I noticed how unfair it was to label both parties "backstabbers" when it was clear that one sister was emotionally impaired; (the accuser) and is in fact doing all the backstabbing, while the other is into damage control - and not backstabbing at all. They both get labeled "backstabbers" even though one is clearly the victim.

I don't know the rsults of the lie detector. I didn't watch the rest because I had to go online. I didn't believe that sister. She is "Sister Dearest." I'm so blessed to have a sister who I love and who loves me and support me. Also I'm blessed with two grown daughters who love and suport each other also. Once again women who lie about other women. Women are each others biggest problem. We need to support each other. There are so many women who are dogs!!! Sound like a book deal in the works.

Where is the proof he did this? It's pretty sad when you'll believe something this vile with NO PROOF.

Child protection results don't mean squat

I had a brother who has passed away a few years ago. He was molesting his son. My nephew told me if his dad didn't stop touching him he would kill himself. He was 9. I reported him to CPS, they literally sent a sheriff's car to my mother's home where my 40 something brother lived, they asked him if he was abusing his son, he said "Hell, NO!" That was the END of it. My family hates me to this day for turning him in. My mother was an alcoholic, and there are certain family dynamics, roles if you will, that children take on. MY sister is the one who lives in denial to this day. I have wanted to speak to/with her regarding sexual abuse in our family, etc...She has called me a liar all my life, and said to me "How could you say such a thing about our (Mother, father, Grandfather, Uncle...you get the idea?) And she is that way to this day. She is suffering medically from stress related illnesses...gee...wonder why when you swallow everything and never deal with it. My point is I don't know if that sister is lying, but CPS doesn't do their job, children lie to protect their parents every day.

Christy, here is my opinion of your story -you are full of it. Stacy, my heart goes out to you and your family. it's very sad that you must endure this torment but my only advice for you is move far away for your family's sake. It really burns me up when I hear someone making these kind of accusations because it makes it VERY hard for people who actually DO have these issues to come forward.IF there were the kinds of abuse going on in your family, there would be absolute,undeniable PROOF in the actions of the child/children being abused. Abused kids don't escape unscarred. They ACT OUT. I won't dignify your sibling by saying anymore than hold your head up and hang in there. I'll bet you have a lot of people in your corner after that fiasco on the show.

Who is wearing the pants?

My good god. Christie's husband looks to me like a weak little man who is not allowed to make any decisions on his own. Accusing someone of being a pedofile without ever even meeting the person is like being a coward. He was told to do this by his wife. She probably physically threatened him to do that. Christie is obviously the ugly sister who is jealous beyond belief of her sister and her family.
Just watching the last segment, Christie is making allegations of her sister commiting fraud in her midwife business. What the beep does this have to do with child safety?????? This just tells us, again, that Christie is jealous of her sister and doing anything she can to ruin her life. She seems that she is probably jealous of her husband as well.
