time giving you will see that.  One of your favorite words is "assumptions", but I have to think about that.  Aren't we all here and anywhere on a computer believing in assumptions?   If you think about it that is the reality of this board.  We all "assume" that the other person we are communicating with is who they say that they are.   Any of us, you, me, Turk, Bemoreselfish, all could be the exact opposite of who they say they are.    Fact is, one person who writes about how wonderful porn has been or is in their lives are re-reading their own arguments for the sake of self convincing.  It's not to help others.  It's the opposite actually. 

The more they read their own (helpless) convincing statements about what this does or doesn't do for them and their relationships the more response they receive from others.  Those either pro "their side" or those "against" their opinions.  Either way it "feeds" what they need to see in order to justify their own camp, their own point of view.   In saying that, it means that they needs to see the "for" and against in order to justify themselves.  And bottom line, they need justifications for the way they see this "porn" thing inside their relationships.

It isn't about wrong or right.  What it's about is justifying our own behavior.  And making sure others see things out way.   We seek this because human nature tells us what is "wrong", and we will believe and seek anything anywhere in order to justify this to ourselves in order to make it seem right.

I really don't care for your opinions.  My words are not to win your favor.  They are truth.  And the truth is not always easy to swallow.  

Porn and the acceptance there of is easy, to stand against anything is not easy.

I don't win favor with my opinions, do you?  Yes you do.  Most that are involve here also do.  That is not my objective.  What is yours?  Why are you here and on the other board, supportive of those who suffer?  What is your purpose?  What is your stand?  To win favor with those who are the majority?

Think about it. My objective is not to be more persuasive to the majority. My objective is to speak how I have seen life and it's lessons, meaning the truth. Yours is questionable. Blows in the winds. Unstable, and weak to say the least.

No, dear, you only think your words are truth. These are your opinions. What you are doing is forcing these opinions on us and telling us that since we disagree with you, we must be wrong. Opinions are not wrong or right, only points of view. It may seem like an earthshattering concept to you, but not everyone agrees, and you have no place to tell people with different points of view that they are wrong.

No one hold it against you for not liking porn. That's okay. You can have that point of view because lots of people do. HOWEVER when you start saying that your opinion is truth, and that anyone who does like it is wrong and just doesn't understand, and you start telling us that we are wrong and patronize us for disagreeing with you, basically, forcing your opinions on us but refusing to listen to what we have to say, THEN we get annoyed. Having an opinion is okay, forcing that opinion on other people is NOT okay.

"When a man is sexually aroused his penis hardens and extends." THAT is truth.

"Premarital sex is immoral." THAT is opinion.

See the difference? Your belief that porn is bad is your OPINION, not absolute, proven truth. You have no right to say that it is truth. Once more, I shall reiterate myself, NOT EVERYONE HAS THE SAME POINT OF VIEW. NOT EVERYONE LIVES THE SAME LIFESTYLE. And I do not have to justify my own relationship to you.

Oh, and by the way, you are partially right about lubricants. PARTIALLY.

Not all women are the same, not every woman's body is the same. Some women can lubricate themselves enough, some woman cannot. It does not mean that something is being done improperly, it means that people have different bodies.

No, lubricant is not only meant for taste or smell. FLAVORED lubricants are meant for that, but not all lubricants.

Okay, this is exactly what we're talking about. You call is weak and unstable just because we aren't like you. You have such a patronizing, high-and-mighty know-it-all attitude toward us. Toward people you don't know. That's called having a big ego and it's extremely rude. I could care less how old you are or how many years you've been married. Your life is not the guiding light to everyone else. Your life experiences have nothing to do with ours. You do not know us, yet you act like you know everything about our lives and our personal being, and you call us weak. How do you not see the rudeness in that? You don't know what our lives are like. How do you know we're so weak? You don't know that. You don't have a clue as to the stability of our lives. You HAVE NO CLUE.  How do you know that Turk isn't the richest guy in town with the most caring and beautiful woman he's ever met for a wife? You don't know that. How do you know that Bemoreselfish isn't the manager of her place of employment pulling in a large salary and raising four children with a loving and supportive husband? You don't.

There are way too many people in the world out there that have totally different lifestyles than you that live wonderfully stable and happy lives. Seriously, you really need to learn to pop that bubble of yours and understand that people live differently than you do, and you have no right to call them weak just because they're different.

Doctors usually prefer to do it as early as possible because it's an easier proceedure when the boy is little. I'm not sure if there is an age limit on circumcision, but I don't know of many surgeons who do it at an older age. I'm sure there are though.

I agree though, that it's dumb to do it out of fear of appearances. If I were a guy, and my penis was uncircumcised, and someone made fun of me for that, I wouldn't care. That would be their problem. I got made fun of way too much in elementary school for what I wore, how I had my hair, etc. to bother about what people think of physical appearance anymore. I'm a very firm believer in the saying "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." And I'm also a firm believer in the fact that every body is different, and everyone's body grows and develops differently. (I'm a huge fan of diversity XD).

Just as you are entitled to be here and classify your opinion on pornography, so am I .  If I state something other than what you believe in, that is my opinion.  I am not forcing you to believe "as I do".  I am just as entitled to speak mine. 

I can also disagree with others and not take that to be a personal attack on me.  You obviously cannot.  There is nothing wrong with people debating facts or opinions.  I do speak a lot based on proven facts about pornography and it's impact on our society.  That does exist.   And it doesn't take a college professor to tell me where to find it.  It's out there.  Police records, college written documentation on this subject, doctors, and all the rest.   The internet is full of this information to examine.   There is proof.   That is not just my opinion, but the findings of many thousands.

On the lubricants, sorry, I didn't specify, nor was it specified about the flavored, tasteless, or other wise, had I know this was what you wanted, I would gladly have pulled up a shopping list of them too.  That information, as you know is clearly all over the internet.  

My point on that was terribly missed, also by you apparently.    Think about it.  I was stating that back when I was 21, actually MOST of the people I grew up with, would not have imagined needing or purchasing a lubricant for sex, at least not at that age.    Now I know perfectly well, that it's a popular thing "today", my intention of the statement was that, in the beginning of a relationship, people didn't (didn't, meaning past tense) usually require these things.     The intention of the statement was that these lubricants, tasty or not, smelly or not, are not always good for the vaginal balance.   Your human sexuality class professor (lol) likely didn't teach you on that, or educate himself very well, because that is fact, and that is what I was stating.

If a young woman at the age of 21 is experiencing lack of natural lubrication, I would strongly suggest she see her doctor for the reason behind this.  I would certainly not entertain coming to this or any other board to gather information about something that is going to affect my body, taste or not.

And why is it that when anyone that differs in opinions about pornography with those on this particular board, rather than debating this openly and maturely, those people are "forced to swallow" the greater influence of the "opinions" relayed here, rather than being able to express themselves as you do?  Please do let me know, do I have to agree with you on everything, including lubricants?
