No, it's my yellow Australian Native Budgie called, "B1." She is sitting on my glasses, LOL!! Mark took this photo only about a week or two after we got B1 and her brother/sister B2.

We have now had both bird's afew months now and they both are just great birds, will sit on my shoulders for hours if I wanted them to, that is!! Mark made them this great Playcentre and it's got lots of bird toy's and other things for them to play with.

So, how's things with you and your's, Kathy? I hope that you are all doing well right now in your household. We are doing fine here of course, be it that we are having some very cold weather lately, much colder than normal for Winter temps.

Good to hear from you, Kathy. Please Take Care and bye-for-now, Love Kelly.

hi all

Kelly, it is so hard to think it is winter where you are! I have a gaming friend in New Zealand and each day I ask her "how's tomorrow looking?" We laugh and compare weather notes.

Your B1 is darling, Mark did great catching that picture! I thought it might be one of your new birds but Kak beat me to the question. lol Sounds like a very busy place at your house these days. It is so hard to believe Stephanie is starting school. OMG, I can't believe how much time has gone by. I remember her first birthday party!

Kak, you sound more than busy, I had to take a rest break after reading all that you have been up to! lol CONGRATS to you and Stan for the big win! That is awesome! Congrats too for getting all those things done to your house and getting to paint what you have always wanted. I dream of things like that, I tell Raj "someday we are going to do this...and that....and this...." I like the plotting and planning at least. =)

Oh and yes, yes please do send pics of Vicki and Ron's big day. I hate so much that we aren't going, I would have loved to have been able to be there. Ah well you all give a cheer from us too!!!

Not much going on here, Matt's birthday is next week and he doesn't know it but his girlfriend is flying in for that weekend. He is going to be blown away!!! Hehe. She called me and asked me if it was ok to come visit. I am so excited, she is that sweetest gal. I think I could not have hand picked someone I liked better for Matt than her. I worry they are so young, but they seem to have thier goals lined out and are planning ahead. Anyway I am grabbing them tickets to go to Mideval Times, a dinner theatre here in the atmosphere of the renaisannce era. So long story short we are quietly preparing for company! He is going to be soooo surprised!

Next week I also have my 18 month, cat scan. Actually I am about a month late, too many tests in one month! =P Anyway, keep your fingers crossed and let's hope this marker is clear like the others. They tell me if I can make it through three years clear, I will be in the clear. This will be half way home!! Woohoo!!!! =)

Hugs to all, Trace know you are missed and never far from my thoughts hope all is well and you are just busy having too much fun!! To everyone else, ditto of course!!!!!

Hi Guys!

I keep meaning to come on here and say hello but, well, it just seems that when I can grab a few minutes to myself I fall asleep!

So Vicki!  Why do I feel like saying "our little girl is finally getting married!"  I'm so happy for you and your family.  And so envious of KAK and Stan the Man who will get to witness the Great Event.  We want details and pics and everything.  Throw your bouqet in an imaginary direction towards JP will ya?  Or Neecie.  Not that I want them to get married again or anything, but a little true romance would be well deserved.

Kelly, I can't believe that Steph is almost five.  How time flies.  Speaking of flying, I hope that little bird of yours is toilet trained.  Now that would be a picture to capture!

Ami - what can I say.  Your stories truly keep me entertained.  You and JP have this wonderful way of putting thoughts together - it keeps my mind awhirling!

And Loretta.  Don't get me started on how wonderful and imaginative the minds of little girls are.   My own little MJ is almost nineteen months old now and coming up with things that astound me and bring me back to when innocent ideas and playfulness didn't have to make sense.  I could go on and on and at some point when I have more time will probably regale you with stories.  But for now, suffice to say that just being with her brings me so much joy and hope.

Neecie - I think of you every time I look out over my balcony and see all the yachts and sailboats on the lake.  I share your and Erin's love of water, even though I get seasick and never learned how to dive without holding my nose.  But the boats.... ah ... maybe one day you can come and visit and we'll go down to the Harbourfront and pick up some rugged, tanned, rich guys with a 100-foot yacht...

Phone is ringing!  Back in a bit.

omg loki I love you!

Here I am rip roaring drunk from coming from a retirement party. My, my what fun I am having with my life! You guys I do come here nearly every day to see what's what, but I always think I have nothing to say! But my oh my what a fabulous life I lead. My oh my. I went to a retirement party tonite for a guy that I grew up with acroos the street. See here's the deal. Trace's post was so great I feel like I'm raining on here parede! (ok. i am loaded ok? I'm not all that sure I spelled parade correctely. Ok. Now I know. Is correctly spelled right? Sh**! lol)  Let's just pretend my 'm' is stuck and I have a cold ok?

I am having waaaaayyyy more fun than a person should. I have 'broken up' with numersous men and have come to the conclusion that I need to hang out with the sisters. Every dang dong time I am alone with the guys I think about how much fun my friends are having that I'm not! Now how fair is that? Since my friends forced me to learn how to put makeup on, the guys REALLY, REALLY like me. Little bitty ol me. Conservative me. Is that not a trip?!  Did I tell ya'll I was drunk?

I have 3 friends that I'm going to Cancun with in July. I'm 53, Betty is 61 (that's the one I go to Hawaii with) one's 64 and just found out she has to wait till she's 66 to retire (ya'll don't even know how pissed she is!) and one that is 66. Every single day at work we laugh and laugh. Those women are not right ok?  I waited on a customer today and they told me that there's a bar you can go to where they swing from chandeliers and breath fire. I was telling the 61 yro about it and she's shocked and asked if the customers do that. I said  no and she goes 'I can see it. There goes Janet..' I'm dieing laughing and then she said 'And there goes Betty' Can't ya'll see that?!  I think they're afraid to travel with us! Seriously!

So

Can you imagine a life where the very large majority is laughter? That's what I have! I can't  belive how many #'s from women tonite. They all want to hang with us. And I am always shocked at how much fun it always is. Can't believe it's me. Can  not belive it.

Ok. I know I'm really loaded. Tthis is my promise. I will (if I can) post tomorrow my stuff. It's crazy and fun and happy and I can not believe how much dang fun. The guys at work tease the crap outta me. They actually can't believe it either. I am wrote the book on conservative. Put alittle makeup on, meet some women, you rock apparently. Why did my momma not tell me this thing?

*hugs, hugs, hugs* to all ya'll. I really do care about you guys.

Ok this day I ain't laughin!

Good grief. Why do I do this to me? lol So anyway, I have 3 friends that I hang out with. Marcy was on vacation last wk and I for some reason made it my responsibility to entertain her. So I did more partying than I normally would, BUT left earlier than I normally would too. We have such a great time together. Then Sherry is just the cutest thing and I am amazed at the life she had once upon a time. Susy homemaker and raiser of children.

I have dated quite a few guys but I just now realized I'm trying to find Chris in them. I hate that. I want to want to date but the reality is I really don't. So I really have decided not to do it for awhile. They're such nice guys and it's just not fair to them.

Isn't this something? I just knew I had so much to tell ya'll bout, but I can't think of one interesting thing to tell! So. THis is me checking in and letting ya'll know I think about you always. *hugs*

Good to hear from you, of course and hope that all is well with you, healthwise that is!!

We are doing fine here and no the bird's are not toilet trainned, so I carry around with me, a tissue to clean up any mess!! I just love having these two bird's up on my shoulders. They love to play with my hair, earrings and my necklace if I have it on at the time!!

Stephanie just loves the birds as well. She likes to have B1 on her shoulder(B1 is in the photo).

Ah yes, Stephanie will be 5 years old in 23 days time!! Not that we are really counting, much, LOL!!

Well Trace, I hope that you, your daughter and Granddaughter all Take Care and hope to hear from you again real soon, Bye-for-now, Love Kelly.

My ex used to have a parakeet that was quite tame. Unfortunately, the bird was loose in the house the day we had new appliance delivered. I forgot about the bird and he made his escape and that was the end of him. I felt really bad about it but hard as I tried, I could not entice the bird to come down out of the trees to safety.

I've never been much of a fan of having birds. They are so messy. My house looks bad enough without spilled seeds, feathers, etc all over. LOL
