Haven't actually posted to you, but I do enjoy your posts. Isn't it funny? Cos I came on here tonite specifically to see if she got all irate (sp?) with me! Gosh! All those CAPS and stuff. Of course we all know she's so over it! LOL. I truely do feel sorry for her, and am so sorry she's in such pain. Maybe if we can settle her down we can help. We be da bomb.

V? So do you have all the paper work finished? I really do care ya know. I'm gonna have to email Tap and git her in here. Where'd the boys go? ......ok. Is it J or Battle? We do know J's getting a divorce. Or is he? hmmmm? Me thinks we have a mystery here.

The paperwork is done...well our end and then we just have to wait until they look at it.  We are on our 2nd go around.  It takes forever....I just hope it comes through before we get married...lol.

You know I was kinda hoping she would come back too.  I was hoping somehow maybe we could help.  Yup...she is hurting....but thing is I think she has a wall up that does not allow for anything to come through.  oh well

I'm missing our guys too....J, maybe found a hottie that is keeping him busy, so he doesn't have time for us anymore  :(

Battle....same goes for him.

Today is a perfect day for harvest....I've been out in the field a few times today....got my combine ride.  I'm probably gonna go for another.....oh the excitement.  I love my rides with Ron...simply because its just the two of us....and we can talk without any interruptions. 

Anyways, today is my day off of school....but I wanted to come on here anyways, but now I think I may go clean something.

Well it is a rainy (Vicki must have sent it) dreary Sunday here so I thought I would check in again.  I must say that the idea of a field and a combine ride sounds rather romantic to me.  My hubby and I don't get much "alone" time but we hate to leave our girls anyway.  A great big field, all alone, ahh, the possibliities!!!!

Almost the end of summer here, but the weather is acting more like Fall.  Started thinking today about the anniversary of Katrina.  Went back and reread a post that I had written about New Orleans and came across something else.  

 HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY BATTLE!  Mid August so I am probably a week or so late but Happy Day!  (Maybe this will prompt a response!).

I was a Current Events/World Events poster when Tap mentioned this site.   Met Tap, Loki, Cygne and Battle over there.   Must say I enjoy the peace and tranquility over here.  Great group of people.

You do know you're one of us right? We think you're really nice too. As far as it being fall where you are? Well it ain't there here let me tell you! Dang it was hot today. I can't wait till this lifts. We're supposed to get rain tonite and for the next two days. It's gott cool things off!

So my very first desk in my entire life.....it's so gorgeous! However! I have a sister that refininishes furniture and I need a coat of polyhurethan on it cos I've seen the one at work and it has many scratches. Well I would be rough and tough and I don't want to worry about it. So I hire my sis to do it and said 3x's "If you don't know how don't do it. It's a $900 desk (I didn't pay that for it) and I don't want you to screw it up. Called her 3x's to tell her yet that other thing I'd heard  (you can't shake polyutethane, cos it creates bubbles, kinda calls) and she kept saying she thinks she can do it. Weeeellllll! You see every single brush stroke! and there's some overlay that I saw and rubbed and IT SCRATCHED!!!!! OMG!!!!! Course this is a few hours later, and a few beers, and I'm now thinking it's just part of the humor of my life. Kinda endearing. Am I gonna think this way tomorrow?! ROFL!  Dang. Do I tell her what I think? .......Do I ever not? LOL Whew. I'm glad I can now laugh about it. Will I ever walk in this room and it not scream at me? Did I tell you I'm ocd? Dang! The way the sun shines in here it's very, very, very apparent. Without the ocd.  My very first ever in my life desk. And I'm 52 flippin yrs old!

  How's everyone doing? I hope you're all doing great and have had a good weekend, whatever you all ended up doing!!

Mark, Stephanie and I are all doing well and Stephanie is in Pre-school today so I have abit of time to myself, yeah!!

NEEICE - Hope everything is slowly coming together for you and Erin. Has her Daddy told her yet what's happening or is she still in the dark so to speak about her Daddy getting married?

Wow.  Lots of stuff going on here.  I confess that I haven't read any of it yet!

A few hours ago I waved goodbye to Cygne (Paula) who spent a week here with me in Toronto.  It was so cool you know, having someone like her around.  I'll get to the stories later on.  The clubs and the giggling  on the balcony and the walks through wonderful neighbourhoods... well... when I put it down on paper you'll be able to see it I hope! 

I am so freakin' blessed!  (Now, does that not sound like a JP thingy to say!)    I have exactly one week and two days to get my stuff packed and fly out to meet with Sue (our precious Redneon)  Did you know that her fiftieth birthday is on September 5th?

So.  I'm not quite sure what has been happening to me this summer.  I've been given gifts and more gifts at a time when I wasn't even asking for them.  Hopefully I'll figure out  how to give something back.

By the way, Tap and Juss are fine.   Just wanted you to know that!

I'm glad to hear you so happy.

The weather has been nice here too, unseasonably cool it seems like.  However, I got my electric bill yesterday and it said last month's average temp was 77, while last year (same month) it was 73.  Go figure.

Anyway, we're having a great time -- more on that later....

Our weather is very much like Fall also.  We've been right on the edge of turning the heat on!  I must say, though, that Erin has been loving the treat of her grandparents coming to pick her up at school.  Yesterday, they walked, because I had the car, and they really enjoyed the walk home together, had a snack, helped her with homework, played a rousing game of Clue. : )  I'll never be able to meet that "after school" standard.  It's been a nice thing for both of us.
