too many a time we try to buy that gift for our loved one that costs so much more than it is worth, and we fall short on having the money to take care of the kids.

when we go buy not from the heart it is never appreciated

Does anyone know the name of those drops that Robin gave away that you put in water and it's equivilent to drinking 15(?) cups of green tea?

when i see so many people as i have seen posting here to you Dr Phil crying that they cant have Christmas because they haven't got enough money for the things they need to buy it breaks my heart in half! it really would seem every one has forgotten how to give the gifts god has already given us all to share with each other,every person in the world already has a true gift to pass on to his or her brother and sister his or her mother and daddy, i knoe this day and time its much easier and more convenient to go buy a gift,[ but a gift rom your heart will truly last a life time! ]

I was wondering what the facial cleansing line was that Robin said she used and loved. I can't find it on the list of gifts. Does anyone remember?

Housing fo the homeless

Here is an email I sent to Dr. Phil with the address for a website for people to find affordable housing.

I wanted to commend you and your wife for the help you have given to those who are financially unfortunate! . Most people do not realize that to some of us things like diapers,clothes and mattresses are luxuries.You gave not only toys but mattresses and gift certificates for clothing.
Last year at this time my husband,our year old twins and myself were homeless.This year we have a place to live through the HUD section 8 program.Even though we can not afford toys and gifts for each other we still feel fortunate.Not only because we have a home but we have a month old daughter.Because of people like you and your wife we have a bed that was donated as well as gently used clothes for our childre.
I wanted to give you the website address that helped my family find housing.It is WWW.HUD.GOV. It took me only 2 weeks to secure a place for my family to live in.Because we were in extreme poverty we only had to pay $2 a month for a 2 bedroom apartment for a few months. Unfortunately many people do not realize that this website is available for housing in every state.Also, even if you can not afford a computer the public library has available computers which is what I used and still do.
Also, please let people know in order for children to receive toys from Toys for Tots to contact the United Way (or whomever sponsers the program) at least a month before Christmas.Unfortunately we were too late for our children to receive toys from the program. Even though my husband and I can not get anything for each other we were able to buy 1 toy each, next year we should be able to do more.
Please pass on the website I gave you earlier so others might be able to have a home.
