Dr. Phil and Robin are great

I just love watching Dr.Phil and Robin's Christmas show. It is wonderful how they always help people in need. And this year they included their sons and their new daughter -in-law. And this year them helping toys for tots even make them more wonderful. Keep up the great work. Dr. Phil and Robin makes a great Mr. and Mrs. Santa Clause.

      Happy Holidays!!!!

12/11 Dr. Phil and Robin’s Christmas Show!

Quote From: fall2grace

Jealous, yes a little.  I'm upset because they give so much to the audience.  Had I been able to travel, let alone have the money to attend the show, I would have been there.  I'm disabled, I'm overweight (desperately trying to shed the pounds), I have arthritis in almost every joint of my body and I live in pain every day of my life.  Because I am living on disability income the doctors don't really care to help to much.  Hopefully I will be attending college again to try and get myself out of this hell!  I have written to both Dr. Phil and Robin asking for help with my weight, more than once and I have heard nothing back.  They give so much to people that will probably turn around and sell most of it and yet there are so many like me.

I'm not a child and I'm not old, I was in a car wreck.  I get tired of watching him giving so much away and I sit here, not able to do anything.  I'm really angry.  I don't care who says they hate me or I should be grateful or whatever.  I am entitled to my feelings and expressing them in a manner that is healthy for me.  I'm not here to please the next person, I'm here for me.  I finally became the most important person in my life!!

I love Christmas, I don't have anyone close anymore to spend the day with so I do spend it alone and because I don't have the money to, I don't have Xmas decorations nor do I want any.

Spreading the love has gone to far.  It should either be just about the children or none at all!!

you should really try to go forth and sow a few seeds of good cheer to some one who is in need of it, and not sit and condemn the efforts dr phil has made to make a difference, you should make the difference he has made, and if your neighbor makes a difference and so on no child will be with out this christmas, but setting and complaning about the differense dr phil has made will not help the ones you know who are in need, but one should know dr phil has made one hell of a differense4 so many children whom with out him would have gotton nothing at all, you should say a special prayer for dr phil and his family instead of finding falt with his actions !

12/11 Dr. Phil and Robin’s Christmas Show!

Quote From: chattygirl

I haven't seen the show yet.  I live in Texas - it airs at 3:00 p.m. (1:00 California time).

I plan on turning on my big screen T.V. with surround sound and finish decorating my tree.  I'll record it on my TV in my bedroom so I can watch it later - my tree will distract me a little.  Thank goodness I have a cathedral ceiling in my den to fit my tree.  Am I gloating?  NO!  I'm tired physically from preop procedures (2) that hurt but am feeling very happy because my results came back.  I do not have cancer.

For the viewers that are jealous - stop it.  I could tell some real pitty stories, but why?  I'd gladly give up any possession we have and I have.

Jealously will eat you up alive.

I truly pray that the ones in need will find a way to have a joyful Christmas.

Even if you're not that crafty - look through your junk - make gifts - create a warm card with paper.

Please, open your hearts and let the spirit in.

I know it must really be hard for many people to see this kind of show, especially if you're depressed.

I pray that those who are feeling this way will get through Christmas joyfully.

Amen! Thise of you who are down and depressed...you are in my prayers! Let's remember the true meaning of Christmas! Jesus gave us the true gift...the gift of eternal life... all we have to do is ask Him for it! I know that the holidays have become SO commercialized, but it doesn't mean we have to be, too! Take it easy on Dr. Phil and Robin. They are doing something they LOVE...giving to others! I know that I love doing that. I love seeing the smiles on the children's faces on Christmas morning. I get excited when I am giving something to my husband, sister, or friend that I know they are really going to love. Have a wonderful Christmas readers, staff, Dr. Phil, Robin, and your family!

Give some to your TV views...

 Hey Dr. Phil,

Your gift giving is great and thoughtful but it is only to the studio audience.  What about your TV audience?  Why not pick some people from your message board and give to them as well.  Not everyone is able to make it to L.A. and get on your great show.  You have some very loyal TV watchers!

Just a suggestion.

12/11 Dr. Phil and Robin’s Christmas Show!

Quote From: afraid

i loved reading your message, it comes from your heart, what you said holds true for me aswell i dont need gifts nether, god has already given me my gift in giving me life and allowing me to wake to see the sun come up for another day, christmas isnt about how much or what you get some one its about getting togather with your loved ones and remembering the birth of our savior, and its for children, its soooo much fun to see the little faces lit up with joy as they wake to see what has been left around a tree, once our children start to grow were suppose to teach them what christmas is about, it would seem most parents cant get away from the santa claws age for one reason or another, thats for the little ones too small to learn about jesus, and the gift jesus gave to all of man kind,no gift can ever equal what he gave, all of the world cant equal what he gave, already i have seen on the news where a life was lost over the theft of a ps3, and i sit and cry in wonder? is this such a game console it is worth dieying for? i think not!
Its nice when you can think about christmas with no worries of money, It used to be that way for me many years ago, but explain to young children on christmas morning how there is no santa claus because there are no presents under the tree, although my children are much older and do not believe in Santa anymore, its always nice to receive something at christmas. I wish I could depend on snow and music to pay my bills but I cannot. Enjoy your holidays. and like people always say the rich get richer and the poor get poorer and there are no jobs for the poor in this world you have to have money to get an education to get a good paying job and then if there are no jobs to get your paying back for your education with money you dont have. LIke me! I have a degree in education and there is nothing out there, so now i am struggling to pay back the school loan. These are reasons why people get depressed. I am sorry I used to beleive in God but i pray and my prayers go unanswered.

really bahh humbug

I must say .... How wonderful for the guests on the show today....why wasn't the audience filled with needy children?   after all it is about toys for tots is it not?  I would love to know how these audience members were picked to be on tne show.... If I could have won my way to be on the show then maybe I could give my child a Christmas he will never have... We can't afford a tree....no not even a $20 tree..   We have no extra cash to buy him a gift...not even from Santa... We have been to the food bank so we can feed him.. but you see according to them my husband makes too much money to go back.  Our family all live 190 kilometers away...so we won't have gas to go and see them..and no thier health isn't good enough for them to come here...nor do we have the space..... and they all live below Ontario's poverty . I am an avid watcher of Dr. Phil .  He has done many wonderful things for many individuals..  You can say I'm Bitter... I am.. All I wanted this year was a new and happy healthy beginning for my family... I guess there is always next year.  Well best wishes to all And when the audience members are all ebaying or off selling their prizes for the cash they can use to pay their bills...may Dr. Phil and Robin and all their sponsers be proud of the money that could have been sent to the needy children .. who will still not have a Christmas

There are other families out there

I lost my job back in October.  I haven't been able to become employed again.  Having a hard time getting hired.  I can knock it out in the interview.  I did something almost 7 years ago.  So I'm going to school full time to be a medical assistant.

In the mean time, my family is struggling.  We wont be able to give our son or ourselves a nice Christmas.  There are things we need now that we can't get.

I'm watching this show and getting angry.  People are getting things that they don't need.  A CD player?!  A computer?!  How about a sweater or a pair of jeans that'll fit?  A new pair of gym shoes so your feet wont get cold this winter?  How about an educational dvd for a child?

Yeah it was too late for me to sign up for "help" for this Christmas.  But, there are other families in a much worse scenario than mine.  I just wish I could do a good Christmas this year.

I agree, loyal watchers need christmas spirit too. Keep doing a great job, Dr. Phil and family. I love to watch you make people smile when you give them gifts.
