Quote From: clockersI'm a man and have a point of view, lol
I consider my wife hot and sexy. In a fake world like movie stars and such, I think a women like Catherine Zeta Jones is nice looking or at least my type. I like a classy women, not a Britney Spears type, but a Diane Lane type or Susan Sarandon. I'm 31, blonde hair, blue eyes, but like the more sophisticated women, someone that likes me. I like belly piercing on the right person. My wife also has one, lol Tattoos, just depends on the area, on a women tattoos can look bad in certain places like arms. My wife also has 4 tattoos and I have 5. I love a women who can think and talk about deeper things, such as politics, religion, etc. I love a sense of humor, because how can you not laugh in a relationship.
I like a working women and a woman that can defend her stance on anything she believes. I like the natural look on a women, because something about make-up, makes me feel a women is hiding behind something. I want to know she will look the same when I wake up next to her. I feel that women hide behind the make-up, so much so that they cannot be seen without it. I don't like insecurity, even just ok women can look good with confidence. I don't care about money and it's a turn off when a women does. If I had a first date and a women asked what I do and how much money I make, That would be a red flag for me.
I guess my biggest thing is the money. I feel people can be happy without much and money causes many problems in relationships. Superficial women turn me off. Racists or Racists comments turn me off. Oh and the , I'm a women you are a man and the whole " we have our roles" thing turns me off. Things should always be equal. So I hope this helps a bit. I was summons off the Debating among different religious beliefs board to answer this question, lol
Hi there clockers! So glad to have another man on this board! I hope it will grow because it could be beneficial to both sexes if it ever gets really going.
I love how you say "in a fake world". I guess we all tend to identify movie stars and famous people when we talk about who is sexy because they are the only ones that we all know and have seen before. I think Catherine Zeta Jones is GORGEOUS! Also Ashley Judd, she is so beautiful. Wish I could mention the hot guy that showed up at my work today or the really cute girl that waited on me at City Bites, but you guys wouldn't know who the hell I was talking about.
It's very refreshing for you to say how much you like Susan Sarandon at your young age of 31. That means there's hope for all us 40+'s! LOL! Just kidding, but I know the type you are talking about, and there is just something about their presence, sophistication and demeanor that hooks ya.
I got my first tattoo at 40 and have had 2 more since then, and I love them. They are in places that I can hide them, but the thing is, they are addictive, and I'm running out of places to hide them. Also got my naval pierced, and almost got my toungue done until they told me I couldn't drink beer for a month! Couldn't deal with that! LOL!! I'm not an alcoholic, but I think it was an excuse to talk myself out of something I wasn't really sure I wanted to do in the first place, ya know?
Thanks for your reply about the make-up. I've had so many guys say the same thing as you have, but just couldn't understand that if that were true, and lot's of guys think that way, then why do all the sexy models that are hot anyway, have to pile on the make-up? The advertisements that are geared more towards men, always have gorgeous models with TONS of make-up, so if guys like natural looking women, then why is that? You can tell that they are already hot without it, so why add it? Especially if it's true that most men like natural looking women. That's just always been like an oxymoron in my head. Especially when you know they've done so much market research to promote their "product" whatever that may be, and have apparently decided that the best way to promote it was an already gorgeous woman with a ton of make-up on top of it all. Just don't understand their thinking is all.
As far as money goes, I could live in a card board box if I was happy! I mean that's all it's about isnt' it? Happiness? I would soooo rather be happy and broke than rich and miserable. Money don't mean sh*t as far as happines, contentment and fulfillment go.
I also hate racist comments. You are who you are as an individual, not your color, or origin or what the hell ever. We are all mutts as far as I'm concerned, a little bit of this and that. It's the person you are that's important.
I also love what you say about "roles" in a relationship. Equal is GOOD! Even if I decided to take the traditional "role" that a woman was expected to be in past times, it wouldn't be a "role" to me it would be a choice, something I enjoyed doing. Just as important as anyone elses choices in life, but not expected of me because I am a woman.
I have visited the Debating Among Different Religious Beliefs board before, but didn't feel knowledgeable enough about my belief to be debating it. All I know is I believe in God, and that's enough for me. That board is very interesting, and I do like reading it, it's educational.
Damn dude! This is the longest reply I think I've ever had to a post! Thanks so much for joining us, and I hope you will come again! :)
