I have had "newest" in my  profile since the beginning....I still have the oldest first...Understandably there are still some bugs to work out...I will be glad when they do...MaryB

     I leave for the clinic in a few minutes.  I will be gone all day, so this will be short and to the point.  I weighed this morning as I promised myself I would.  The results are below.  I am considering this a "New Beginning" in a new time and place.  I will need your help, support, and encouragement.  I hope to provide all of those to you too!

I changed my way of viewing msg to oldest and found I had missed a lot of messages from the start! Will see if this works better but as someone expressed, I hope I don't have to plow through all the messages but it takes me back to "last message read" like the old board did so I pick up where I left off.

 

Have had a good week, although finding a cool spot has been a challenge. Since I just can't do heat at all, have stayed indoors and my A/C didn't kick off until 12:30 AM this morning. I have my temp set on 78 and it has not cooled down below 80 anytime during the day and evening until well after 10PM any night for last 4-5 nights. Very uncomfortable for me and also prevents a lot of moving on my part. A/C will kick off and on until around 1PM in the afternoon and then runs like I said till after midnight. I may call and have my coolant checked.

 

Mac, my weigh in today is also good. I am down 3.3#. Yeah. This makes 20# down from start in January. Busy day with housekeeper coming and I must get to grocery store today. Till later, have a good day and see you all later. Hugs to all, Sandra   383/363.9/175

Sandra I keep getting your mail back since I changed to your new e-mail. Whats up?

I think you have to Log On before you will notice the changes in your PROFILE.  The first thing I do when I come to the message board is Log On.  It then changes FROM Oldest first TO Newest first and my print changes from small to large.

I am going to try pasting a message in this morning. I do not know if this will work as I am pasting from my mac to a pc friendly board. I spent some time this morning reading the page for posting problems. Two main complaints I have with the new format and others have expressed are the missing 30 minute editing ( a great feature for mood swings and just plain changing your mind) a counting system on our messages. With the counting system we could always see where we were and where we were going. It has been difficult to feel any continuity with this new format. I know you can read in the order you put in your profile but it still doesn't work too well for me. It goes without saying that NO-BACKSPACE-NOt BEING ABLE TO DELETE AND EDIT-NO WORDING IN THE BOXES FOR POSTING PROFILE PICTURE (you have to guess which box is what you need) NO SPELL CHECK OR BUTTON BAR THAT OTHERS TALK ABOUT. NO BEING ABLE TO INSERT OUR DELIGHTFUL COLORS WITH html codes CODES STILL WORK FOR ME FOR PICTURE INSERTS BUT NOT FOR CENTERING AND SUCH. Now the moderator taught me how to do alL these neat things with html codes and I enjoyed the feature. For those truly missing the old format -- it is nice to go to the achieved boards and see our rainbow of colors and font sizes there. They have our lst board and the Spring board in the archives.

A 3 LB GAIN FOR ME THIS MORNING. 372/311/165 I DID WELL WITH IE BUT HAVE HAD SOME SLIPS WITH STRESS EATING-- I AM ON TOP OF IT AND WILL HAVE A LOSS NEXT WEEK. I AM SURE I HAVE 3LBS JUST OF WATER RETENTION. THE TEEN IS A STRESS BUT WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT WORKING THIS BOARD WOULD ALSO BE A STRESS/ ? I LOOK FORWARD TO THE DAY I CAN JUST BACKSPACE. .....   I have no trouble backspacing at all.  Have you tried logging in first and then starting the body of the post and then going to the message title.. sometimes the title will not backspace. but the message itself will!

  Now about the edit.  If you write your post and then preview it first...there is aplace to edit on the bottom of the preview page..  click there and then you are taken back to the first board where you can indeed edit your writing. I hope this makes sense.  I learned almost all of  what I know about this computer from you gals and I am forever grateful.     Cheers Rainy
