Good morning

How is everyone doing?  I've been so busy but a good busy.  Water aerobics class Monday night and Wednesday night.  I don't get out of the water until after 9pm and it really tires me, but I just love it. 

  

Linda there is a Y an hour away so it's not financially viable for me, and especially in the winter time the roads can be very trecherous.  But the outdoor pool I go to, the lady is talking about closing it in so we can use it year round. 

  

Niki, that would be great, as long as it'll hold up my weight :)  We'll get together soon.  I miss my ball but hadn't gotten around to repace it. 

  

Karen, way to go on the weight loss, it's encouraging also when your dh is doing it with you.   

  

Connie, how are you feeling?  Hope you are back to your old self once again. 

  

Alice, thanks so much for all your inspiring posts, knowing how well you've done keep the rest of us motivated. 

  

Time to go, sorry I missed everyone, but time to drive dh to catch  his ride.  Yesterday morning we had a flat tire on the truck so were late getting there.

Good Morning

  I just have to share the good news.  I got this morning and went out and swam the two hours and then I came in and got on the scale.  I am now officially in the 150's.  I am so happy.  I am sure this is the extra kick I needed to keep me on the straight and narrow with getting the correct size portions.  I will be measuring out my portion size as the last two days I realized that I had allowed my portions to get a little bigger again. 

   Niki of course you can put my picture anywhere you want.  I would send you one but I do not remember how to put it into an e-mail but I think it is getting a little outdated as it was taken in February and I have lost more since so do look a little thinner now but since I do not have any recent pictures it will have to do.  Maybe in a few weeks when my Granddaughters come I will get my DIL or son to take another picture of me.    I am so sorry to hear you are struggling but you have had health issues so be easy on yourself.  Putting a picture up that we think makes us look less than we want does help sometimes.  As long as you do not let it discourage you.  I think you are doing so great giving up the Cappi. and drinking green tea instead.  That is a huge step.  You are taking the right steps.  Talking with your doctor is helpful.  I hope that she will support you in your weight loss goals now.  You are getting your IE and drinking your water and working with all of the other keys you will succeed.  Remember we did not gain this overnight and we will not loose it overnight.  Just keep following the plan and the pounds will come off.   Look two and a half years ago when I started I had trouble even bending over and  had to have help when I got down on my knees to get back up again.  Now it is easy to do.  Look at where you were when you first started this and now look at yourself today.  Even if you have not lost as much weight as you would have liked to by now think of all of the changes you have made in the other key areas.  I can bet if you are like me your thinking is entirely different now than when you first started.  You have come a long way and we will succeed together.   I know you can do it.

Hi friend!  I kind of know how your feeling with the pictures.  I am really down on myself today.  We went lastnight to go over some last details with our house guy.  He wanted to show us a house on the lot.  We had to climb up into it because there werent any stairs.  I couldnt get up into it.  Dh had to boost me up, cause I couldnt hoist my fat tail in it. I was so embaressed.

Niki, You look beautiful in the pictures on the website.   It is OK if you want to talk to your doctor about weight loss, however, you don't need to be so hard on yourself.  You are a beautiful person inside and outside.  Take care! :) Bren

Niki,  I am doing good.  I am swimming and walking regularly.  Other than that, spending time with family.  I am enjoying playing scrabble with my mom and dad lately.  Just enjoying the summertime.  Thanks for asking.  Take care! :) Brenda

Karen, Niki, Bren

  Bren you are so right.  Both Niki and Karen are beautiful women inside and out and should not be so hard on themselves.  You are both trying hard to change yourselves and that is what is important.  It takes awhile, do not get discouraged.  Just follow the plan and we will get to our goals one day soon in the future.  When you do you will think back to this day and know that you were being too hard on yourself.  I know you can both do this and have already succeeded in many aspects.  Keep up the hard work. 

   Bren you are doing very good swimming and getting all of the other IE.  Good for you.  Keep up the hard work. 

   Everyone I hope you had a good day.  I was able to follow the food plan and got all of my water plus in today.  Have a great weekend.                   Alice

I'm getting ready to go to bed but wanted to drop by and say good night to all my dear friends. 

  

Bren, way to go on the swimming and walking.  Keep up the great job, doesn't it make you feel so good all over knowing that you are doing something healthy for yourself. 

  

Alice, woooooohoooooo, you are certainly working the program, in the 150's.  I am so proud of you. 

  

Niki and Karen, please don't be so down on yourselves, Niki I have met and know what a beautiful person she is, and Karen just from what I know about you on the boards you most certainly are also, besides anyone that owns a basset hound is #1 in my books.  Get back into reading Key #1, right thinking, we slide into negative thought patterns so easily. 

  

Where the heck are the rest of you guys?  Hope everyone is okay.
