Are you ready for Valentine's Day, or are you feeling romantically challenged? Dr. Phil joins with Robin in tackling romance dilemmas. First up, Thomas is obsessed with deer hunting and is often away from home practicing his sport, including on Valentine's Day. His girlfriend, Carlye, wonders if he will ever make their relationship top priority. Will she have her answer after the show? Next, Darla wishes her husband, Allen, would get some help in the romance department. He proposed to her over the phone and took her to Oktoberfest for their honeymoon! Allen has a special message for Darla, and Dr. Phil surprises the couple with a Valentine's Day gift that will give them another chance to celebrate their wedding night and honeymoon. Then, two wives get makeovers: one goes from school marm to sexy siren, and the other ditches her mud mask and flannel muumuus for some posh pajamas. Will their new looks be just what their husbands had hoped for? Plus, if you're looking for the perfect Valentine's Day gift for the man or woman in your life, you won't want to miss the fun ideas and giveaways! And, a Grammy-winner performs a song guaranteed to melt your heart. Share your own Valentine stories and talk about the show here.

Perfume

Quote From: mmmarsh

On the show you showed a perfume from creativescents, however, it is not listed in the gifts from the show.  I would like the e-mail address and which perfume it was that was shown.

Thanks,

M

Here's what Robin said on the show:

“After your bath, you can spray on this fragrance, Perfect Veil, from Creative Scentualization. It’s a clean, subtle and provocative scent.”

you knew upfront

I think Carlye should either deal with a boyfriend who enjoys hunting or get out of the relationship. Thomas was honest with her upfront and told her he hunts alot. Now she is trying to change that. i think that is very unfair of her.

It would be nice

I love watching Dr Phil and I follow alot of his advise....in the parenting and love and relationship areas....Todays show just made me feel lonely and hopeless. In our society of gluttony Dr Phil gives the whole audience 1 of everything yet here I sit disabled, not able to go see his show in person and no way to get anything for free.I think he should make it able for people to log in and at least get a chance of getting something.......Heck I'd be happy with a nice(higher then a 200 thread ct) set of sheets!! LOL

I have thought about signing up for match.com yet my promblem woud never come up...How do you date when you are disabled and not really free to "just get out there!? Oh well just thought I would put my 2 cents in there!! I hope everyone had a great Valentine's Day!!

It is & was & still is sad because it would have been 11 or 12 yrs that my late husband (Ron) would have been married on this day & the guy that I keeps telling me that he DOES  WANT TO BE TOGETHER didnt even call like he said he would last night or follow through with any today(th e 14th) & yet I did get him a pretty card & again still nothing & i even wrote him a letter telling him how I feel & I am leaving this in Gods hands cause he tell me that he is affraid to let down the walls from what his X did to him almost 2yrs or mre ago & I dont want no more excuses from him.  Do I love him, yes very very much & he knows it & wants again to be with me.  If any one can or will help please say so.   Thank you.  Steffie

one day at a time hun

Quote From: amazed7299

I have been involved with a man since 1998.  We were married in July 1999 and divorced in September 2002 but remained together.  About every 3 months we hit rough times but always come through.  On January 5, 2007 he threw me out and started seeing another girl.  I spoke with him one day and told him that I loved him so much that I needed him to be happy and if that meant us being not together then I wished him happiness.  So I've had a few breakdowns one in the grocery store alot at home.  So today of all days Valentines Day he calls me and asks me if I have his divorce papers.  I said no why are you getting married and he said yes.  Happy  Valentines Day to me.  I don't want to continue breathing.  I have no reason to.  I'm not going do anything I do value my life.  I am just so numb.  I've been crying now for about 5 hours and don't know how to stop.  Can someone please tell me how to get through this.
Hun YOU CAN MAK EIT THRU THIS!!!! ONE DAY AT A TIME.....NEVER DEFINE WHO YOU ARE BY A MAN.....BE YOUR OWN WOMAN HOLD YOUR HEAD UP!! AND LISTEN TO THE SONG i'M MOVING ON BY RASCAL FLATTS...THAT SONG HEALED ME ...MY X LEFT ME WHEN i WAS 39 AND I WAS BECOMING DISABLED......WE WERE MARRIED FOR 15 YRS....I THOUGHT I'D NEVER GET OVER IT......I DID!!!YOU CAN TOO

Is Just one day ....24 hours

Perhaps we should remember that with all due respect, that Valentine's Day can be so overly commercialized and a huge moneymaker for  greeting cards, flowers, etc. Should we not always tell our loved ones how we feel and celebrate our relationships daily? After all Feb.14th is just a 24 hour day. For those of us without significant others, why the tears and low self esteem? Masochism is never healthy. Praise God for the new day and treat yourself with what makes you the happiest. With wars, famine, and genocide occuring daily in this world of ours, it seems wrong to me to to be distressed over no box of candy or flowers that wilt soon after receiving them.

02/14 Valentine Troubles

My husband is sooo much more horrible then Darla's husband. At least he proposed, we talked about it,  I ended up buying my own ring ( he eventually paid for it). On our wedding night he wants to watch a movie then falls asleep. We could even go on a decent honeymoon because he did save and money up for it so, we ended up going to Hershey pa. But he had to sleep most of the two days and bring his work laptop.   Every holiday/ anniversary it just gets worse.  Its just sad some how my fairytale prince got  turned into a  yucky tadpole. His idea for valentines day after the kids went to sleep, he went upstairs and played his dumb computer game and left me all by myself. Sometimes I even wonder if I'll matter to him like I use to.

Awesome Show

Hey Dr. Phil and Robin,,

I loved the Valentines show it was great.  Some of the stuff was my huband to a T.  Also the gifts you gave away, I am jealous, I wish I could have been in that adudience.  But the best part of the show was Clint Black and Lisa Hartman Black singing, the song they sang was my wedding song so it made Valentines Day specical, my husband even danced with me while they sang the song.  So thank you  Dr. Phil and Robin
