Two Hollywood stars, two incredible sagas that have captivated the nation. Dr. Phil takes you inside the drama surrounding Anna Nicole Smith and Britney Spears. Anna Nicole’s story is one of the most bizarre celebrity cases with unbelievable twists and turns: a beautiful but troubled model, a headline-grabbing pregnancy, the shocking death of her beloved son … culminating in the actress’s untimely demise. Pat O’Brien, host of The Insider, has known Anna Nicole for eight years and shares what it was like spending time with her during her last days. Next up, Alex Goen, CEO of Trimspa, weighs in on the death of his company’s spokesperson. Then, some argue that Britney Spears’ recent behavior—leaving rehab after one day, shaving her head bald, and angrily brandishing an umbrella—indicates that the pop star is in a tragic downward spiral. Frank Griffin, a celebrity photographer, has captured Britney’s public pain through his lens. Are the paparazzi partially responsible for driving this young star to the brink?  Talk about the show here.

Find out what happened on the show.

Anna and Britney...Let's get real

When someone chooses to have thier lives be made public...then, it will happen.  We can all voice our feelings on the subject, and, it probably wont influence other's opinions. Our human nature is to judge others by thier behaviors, and speak freely with our opinions. So, be as it may...I have some ideas and opinions on the subject. First off, I think Dr Phil needs to have a show on LUPUS, and get the record straight. Second off, it is sad that these two women have had lives with very little privacy, especially with the personal issues each has lived.  I think Brittany should go live on a farm far inthe country for a few weeks or month, and, maybe find her inner self, and live free for awhile with or w/out her children.  And, last , the choices and circumstances that have happened to these young women are complicated, and, so is much of the rest of the world. So, let them be, in thier own personal struggles, and to rest in peace, and direct your enegies to help the ones you can.  Maybe. that could be another show..'Celebrity goes country for rehabillitation'.   :)

03/05 Anna and Britney: Behind the Headlines

What really questions me, is not what caused agravated or not, but how we can let people who are close to us stop from  going  out of control.... The medias , paparazzi whatever will always exist because we continue to demand the information.. So who is to blame ? Is it important to know ? But how can we help people who are close to us who are suffering, and not wait too late like for Anna Nicole Smith. Did someone speak to her or not, because sometimes people don't want to listen or do not agree with our perceptions. Sometimes we are also fooled with the perceptions of the persons strenght....

Telling someone they need help is one thing, but doing in a manner that they will listen , react pro actively  is another. We cannot alas,  infuse self esteem, self respect, self care, but once we voiced our concern, we  stay close to lend a hand when person is  ready for help.... I don't find it usefull to put blame The persons needs help, support, care and concern. I hope Britney Spears will find the help she really needs, and that Anna Nicole Smith daugther will find a real father figure to take care of her...

What A-N needed was a set of values. If she had had values she would not have stripped for a living and instead would have gotten an education and a respectable job to help raise her son. She never would have met the very old frail, wheel-chair bound billionaire at the end of his life senile enough to think a 24 y/o stripper would be interested enough in him to love him not just for his billions. If she had values and had not gone out to be a stripper, she would not have gotten this vulnerable old dying man to have paid for her huge breast implants and she would not have been his private dancer. If she had had real values she would have cared more about her son than to have exposed herself nude to millions of men all over the world and thought that that was admirable and something to be proud of. If she had values she would not have married the old dying man to get half his estate. If she had values she would not have dragged the US judicial system with the help of Mr. Stern through the 10 years of trials using who know how much money and time and resources of our judicial system only for her own greed when she was left out of the old man's will. If she had had values in her life she would not have dragged the media into her privacy (she did that herself for her own profit too) and she would have accepted that she had done not enough in the last 13 months of the old 90 year old man's life to have earned anything more than what he had already given to her adn that had been a lot by anyone's standards.. She would have spared us and the reputation of the American culture and she wouldn't have raped the underlying tenets and validity of marriage  in the US in the eyes of the world. She showed that her values were only in the grabbing of millions of dollars earned so effortlessly and quickly in only 13 months of fraudulent marital life.

You don't think you are even slightly exaggerating the effects Anna Nicole has had on American culture and the US image in the eyes of the world? You seem to be giving her an awful lot of power and credit.

No Respect for Britney

I have no respect for Britney and see her problems as being self-induced.  She is little more than a self-absorbed tramp to me.

No I am not exagerrating - you need to read more commentaries like the obituary online from the Economist.com or the article by Susan Estrich on FoxNews online that explains the effects of

A-N on the world....  it is not just me - trust me others see the big picture just like I do.  When you told me that you thought that I was among the few who thought that she wielded such a bad effect, I found these articles and more that explain well and the why of the bad effects for her own son, for her daughter yet to occur and for all the rest of us.
