Topic : 03/05 Anna and Britney: Behind the Headlines

I used to say the Texas Legislature should pass a law that would make it a felony crime for Anna Nicole Smith to say out loud she was from Texas. I thought she is a former stripper who seemed to be in cheesecake photos on magazine covers and involved in a legendary battle with the Marshall heirs, why does she attract so much attention? (Had she lived in TX during her short marriage, she would have been eligible for community property.)

 

In fact it is said that she never lived with Marshall and in the last few months of his life never visited as his nurse testified in the court cases.

 

She was not in his will either for her 13 month "marriage" to a man old enough to be her grandfather or even great-grandfather.

 

I agree that the best thing that could happen to the baby is not to get the Marshall monies and to instead have a normal life and never get implants either.

 

I have had Lupus for 22 years, it bothers me that Dr. Phil said that it was not life-threatening.  If he would read Lupus magazines, he would see that it could be VERY life threatening!!!!!!!!  I was diagnosed after my first born came along.  I was very sick during that pregnancy.  My doctor told me there was nothing wrong with me, but as it turned out, I had 11 of 13 symptoms in less than 5 months after her birth.  I lost my job, almost lost my home, and went through alot of treatments that made me even more ill than I already was.  I was having eye strokes, fainting spells, hair loss, gland enlargement, facial hair, swelling of face and abdomen from the overmedication, lesions from sun exposure, and on and on.  My entire life changed.  I went from a very active 22 year old to a hermit!!!!!!!!!   I could no longer be the active, athletic person that I was, and I had to avoid sun exposure at all cost. 

I respect Dr. Phill very much, however, I think he needs more information on Lupus.  I can see why Anna was on major drugs.  There are so many other illnesses associated with Lupus, Fibromyalgia and MVP being the least of them.  There was a time that when I came to believe that Lupus was a blessing, it brought me closer to God,  a God I had given up on.  It motivated me to do things I thought I could never do.    And this was after I lost one son to Lysteria, and God blessed me with another son, but after more illnesses I have given up, I am on the road to destruction, I don't want to be, but I can't take the pain anymore.  I live each day doing the best I can because I have a family that depends on me, they need my paycheck, they need me to manage our bills and secure our future.  I have family members who are counting on me to take care of yet another ailing parent and take care of those details.  I have always been the one everyone depends on, and yet the pressure to be the best has overcome me!  I want reliet.  For once in my life----I want someone to take care of me-give me the help I need, allow me to care about me, give me the opportunity to get well, take care of me, put me first, be the person God wants me to be. 

Anna and Brittney were exploited-they were children who had no choice, no one on their side, they were bound to end up this way!!  When will someone stand up for the exploited in our society!?!

I will say that Dr. Phil had a point in that he brought up the fact that those closest to them have not intervened.  They need intervention if Brittney is to be spared.  I'm not a fan of hers, but she is a child of God and deserves someone to intervene, especially her parents who created her!!!

So true - how much does the public know about her mothering anyway? Just teh glimpses of her holding her babies now and then between the nannies.  

 

How can you be a good mother and a terrible role model at the same time?

Considering Britney Spears' partying, and the people she's been partying with {Paris, Nicole Richie et the rest of the party clique} has anyone thought of the possibility that her head shaving was to remove any chance of drugs being detected in her hair follicles?

If she's partying hard, taking serious chemicals, and Federline forces drug testing, she'd lose her children in a heartbeat.

Anna should be buried with her son, why would anybody take that away from her. I feel so sorry the the baby, this little girl is in the middle of a tug and war, how will anybody know who is just in it for the money.  Also, the media is over doing it,  Anna was a human being, people seem to forget that. Anna had a reason to get away from her family and change her name, I hope Anna's mother is checked out really super good, she may just be in it for the money, tears mean nothing if she wants it bad enough. I hope Anna's little girl ends up in the arms of someone who will love her, for herself not her money.  My heart goes out to this child.

In the case of both these women ESPECIALLY anna nichole the woman didn't EVERYTHING for the camera and showing it for money..even up to her cesearn section for ET..they have no dignity..no sense of what's scared like a birth with the mother and the SUPPOSED FATHER..so in my opinion she lived filiming everything for publicity but her toilet habits..so why should she deserve any dignity now.

 Dr. Phil, I am so dissapointed in the interview you did with Alex Goen and pat Obrien. As a Mother, I feel that I can totally understand how Annas Mother feels, and maybe you along with a lot of other people don't understand her feelings! when you talked about where Anna Nicole would want to be buried, you made it sound like any fool would know, she wanted to be near her Son, But, I wonder if Daniel would have wanted to be buried in the Bahammas? Please keep in mind, The only reason she went there was to keep that Baby from Larry Birkhead. She was so decietfull, she lied and said that G Ben Thompson gave her that house, She wanted him to lie and say the Baby was his. The interview she gave ET, where she accused her Mother of horrible things, and yet she allowed her Mother to raise Daniel from the age of Three months untill he was 6 years old, the same Mother who she said beat her and allowed her Father to Rape her, and also said she allowed her Brother and Sisters to do I don't know what. why don't you bring these things up during interviews with People? Howard Stens Sister said in an interview that His parents were supporting him all these years, that he never got a dime from Anna, and on the witness stand he told the Judge that Anna paid for everything. He only got money from his Parents for His Birthdays! This reminds me of Carol Oconner and his Son. He said he had to totally remove himself from his Son, because of Drugs, and He couldn't have anything to do with him, because he couldn't get him off of drugs! After his Son died, He had a lot to say about the Man who supplied his Son with the drugs! I believe Annas Mother only wanted to bring Anna and Daniel home to Texas, where people truley loved and cared for them! I think maybe you should have let Robin do this interview. Dr. Phil, I, and hopefully like many other viewers of your show will do, is PRAY!  I will pray that GOD will guide and direct the JUDGE overseeing the custody case of Anna Nicole Smith's daughter, will make the PROPER/APPROPRIATE decision/choice of who will be that child's PARENT, like you said on the show today, and will put that beautiful baby's NEEDS above and beyond the MONEY ISSUE!!!!!

 

As for Britney Spears, you are right!  She does not need a HOLLYWOOD STYLE rehabilitation vacation!!  Britney Spears needs some time away from EVERYTHING (i.e., career, parents, other family members, etc.) to get the HELP that she really needs and spend the time she and her children need to be a family.  I will PRAY that she will seek you our Dr. Phil, you have 'THE BEST' avenues, resources and solutions to help her acquire the necessary tools to manage her life more efficiently!

I thought this was a great show, long overdue.  Dr. Phil hit it right on by saying the most important issue right now concerning Anna Nichole is the baby.  She needs to know who her father is.  Right now,  she doesn't have a clue and doesn't care but as she grows, she will want to know where she comes from and who truly loves her.   The money at stake should not be an issue where she is concerned....but sadly, it is.  I hope everyone involved steps up to the plate and consents to a DNA test for that little girl.  God Bless Anna and may she rest in peace, finally.  As far as Britney is concerned, I so feel for her children and I pray that she gets the proper help she needs. 

I think Anna Nicole is going to be like Princess Diana. Can't we just let them rest and move on? And about little Danny Lynn, that makes me even more sad for her. If she didn't stand to inherite millions of dollers, these men would not be trying to claim her. I believe, regardless of what the DNA test says, if there is one, that Howard K. Stern should be her daddy. He has been there since day one and has never lefted her or Anna's side. Any man can make a child but it takes a real man to raise one. And Brittany...... I feel her. I'm about to go down the same path she is. You get to a point in your life where you just can't take it all anymore. So I am right there with her. I just don't really care anymore. You get stepped on, talked about, stabbed in the back, you thought you had a good man that loves you, everybody is all up in your business..... Yeah it gets to you sometimes.
