(Original Air Date: 04/19/07) Some moms don’t want to grow up, and others don’t want to grow old. Dr. Phil talks to women walking on the wild side and tries to rein them back in! Aubrey says her sister, Elise, would rather drink and party every night than take care of her 8-year-old son. Their mom, Heidi, is raising Elise’s child and says Elise wants to be a parent only when it’s convenient for her. Elise promises her family that she’s going to change, but what will it take for her to get her act together? Dr. Phil has a shocking proposition for her. Then, Greg says his wife, Lisa, is obsessed with plastic surgery and worries that it’s becoming a disease. He says she works at a plastic surgeon’s office just to get a better deal on surgery. Lisa, 39, admits that she’s spent nearly $100,000 on cosmetic procedures so she can look as young as her 21-year-old daughter and wants even more work done. Can Greg convince his wife to stop going under the knife? Talk about the show here.

Find out what happened on the show.

Yes, Sir

Why is it that the women who have been on the show and 'addicted' to plastic surgery all look the same?  Same hair, same lips, same eyes, same everything.  And what the heck is it with that nose?  It looks like the end of a knife with two bubbles on the side.

over the top

The next surgery won't put her over the top.  The last one already did that.

plastic surgery

I am fine with plastic surgery but only within reason. I would love to have some but I would much rather spend time with my young son instead of trying to heal. This woman needs to calm down and age a little!!!

Plastic Surgery ?

I'm 42 - Am constantly guessed at 30-35 (Great Genetics) - I have a 22 year old daughter who takes my breath away every time I even look at at picture of her!! I DO NOT want to look like her sister I WANT TO LOOK LIKE HER MOTHER!!!!! She is my pride and joy - I realize I am lucky and have nothing against plastic surgery but this woman has to be one of THE ditziest - knukleheads I've seen in a long time just watching her mannerisms while she spoke was more then enough to see someone completely and throughly self absorbed.  As pointed out earlier she isn't even 40 yet - God help her family as the years continue to tick by - Growing old gracefully is also a choice - one she should take into serious consideration there is nothing more pathetic them those women who no longer use plastic surgery to look better - they use it to look younger Hot Tip ladies YOU ARE NOT YOUNGER and the results of such things make you look pathetic and sad - Something for the daughters to truly emulate I can only hope that once home this woman really watches a tape of this show and see's how thoroughly rediculous she sounds!!! And how not once did she mention her family (Children) Other then wanting to compete with one and encourage the other to get surgery also - Nice self image building there MOMMY!!!!!!

On her My Space page?????

How old are these idiots????  I have used the internet and computers for many years and have always thought that the MySpace site is for young people.  Are we not talking about adults here???  Maybe these people need to grow up and be an adult.  Like my friend always says, "Put on your big girl panties and deal with it!"

Don't get me wrong it nothing wrong with looking beautiful but my dearest one beauty starts with in ever thought about that.

I want to talk about me me me me me me me

Ok its really simple to figure out. She is stuck on herself. She does not give a flying funky nickle about anybody but herself not even her husband!

She would rather spend that money on plastic surgery than go on a vacation that most of us only dream of.... But would her husband rather go on vacation or join a gym  or what ever.

She doesnt care about her marriage because she hears him tell her shes great the way she is and still its what she wants. Poor girl will end up looking like Michael Jackson and loose her husband. My advice to her would be to pay more attention to her husband a try to go a day without talking about herself. but I dont see either happening. Dr Phil I think you may have been wrong about her mental stability.

No you DON'T have any self-esteem whatsoever!!  If you did you would not be trying to change your looks or your body at every age you are.  You sound alot like the woman who wanted to be a "real" Barbie Doll.  As for doing this for your husband so "he will be proud of me"  that is a bunch of hooey.  YOU are not proud of yourself!!!!  You must not be happy at all because in order to BE happy one MUST be happy with oneself.

Sick

Watching the story of the alcoholic mom I felt like I was watching my family up there. My 31 yr old sister is an alcoholic who refuses to acknowledge her problem, and my 10 yr old nephew is the one who pays for it everyday. My father pays for all of her bills, and even cosigned a loan for a new car after my sister wrecked her car in a DUI.

As the mother of 3 children I just dont understand how some people can put alcohol before their loved ones.It really makes me sick to see these poor kids going through the pain of watching their mothers choose partying over them. Alcohol has torn my family apart and I will never put my kids through any like this, and I am doing my best to make sure my nephew gets the help he needs.

Bravo!

Yeah for spending some time talking about this issue!!! What about people like Brittany Spears going out partying, clubbing, going to Laker's games when she has small children to take care of?  I've always said, I wouldn't trade my life for Brittany's life for a second because I wouldn't want the option of leaving my children all day and all night with a nanny! With all the things, and money, and talent that young women has....I'ld rather have my simple life, living in my simple home, taking care of my incredible children!  I think a lot of people see that excitement and get jealous and want to imitate.  I know I feel a tinge of that sometimes.  Right before I brought the kids inside, just a few minutes ago...an older woman, with a huge belly, rolled her Mercedes Benz right up onto the sidewalk where my children were playing with chalk and asked,

"Hey, where's the alcohol.....I mean the Leasing Office?"  I gave her directions to the leasing office, praying she isn't looking to rent a home here!!!!  She swerved her car around the bend and then called back to me, "Did you say Right or Left?"  I repeated, "Left."  This woman is drunk in the middle of the day on a Thursday driving around where children are playing.  Maybe she has her reasons, but it was definately a clue to me....My daughter may be old enough to play outside by herself and I trust her.....but I do not trust every KOOK that could be driving by!!
