(Original Air Date: 04/23/07) No matter how much we try to avoid it, conflict is a part of life. But what happens when an entire family points the finger at one person as the source of the chaos? Carrie’s family calls her a drama queen who tries to destroy their relationships. Her sister, Miranda, says Carrie called their mother trash and wants their father to divorce her. Her brother, Meikle, says Carrie is upset because she didn’t approve of his fiancée and now refuses to attend his wedding. Carrie admits that she can be attracted to conflict, but says she feels isolated by her family. Then, Carrie’s parents, LaRon and Susan, confront her about trying to break up their marriage. Carrie hasn’t spoken to her mom in over a month, and they face off onstage. Plus, Carrie reveals a shocking secret that she’s kept from her family for years. Family Drama

Carrie's Mom and her 3 sisters have histrionic personalities. They get excited by each others stories regarding Carrie and try to out do each other. Carrie seems to feel angry at her Mom and sisters because of the years of bullying she has received from them. Her only family members who give her unconditional love are her father and Brother which is why she is trying to control them in unhealthy ways in an attempt to maintain her bond with them.
Being upset by her Brother's wedding was really because of a subconscious fear that this would be the end of her loving relationship with her brother. When he didn't introduce her to his fiance she felt like he was rejecting her by rejecting their pact made all of those years ago. I'm sure the pact itself meant less than the connection and feelings of importance in her brother's life that she equates with being loved.
You can hardly blame her for having a screwed up idea of what it means to have someone love you considering how poorly she has been treated by her female siblings, especially her Mom..
Her female siblings are so very different to her. They are extremely emotional and irrational and I would say they have a very difficult time trying to understand Carrie. It's funny that they call her a drama queen when they are so much more dramatic.
I loved this show..loved it. There needs to be follow up shows with this family. They were very entertaining.
