but i know how you feel .not easy to stop eating so much . i find iif i dont have any sweets in my house it helps   now if i can get rid of this spare tire

Thank you Joe for the info, greatly appreciated. I see most of you got the hang of it. For me, I'm just not getting it. I do have my messages set to newest in my profile. But I still can't seem to find the newest and last messages. If I find newest, where does it end? It keeps on going, pg 2, 3, 20, 30 etc. I don't see message numbers only time and date. I don't normally talk like this but I"m at the point where I don't want to come back here. As you can tell I"m frustrated.

There are no message numbers just pages now. It gets easier to use after a while.

 

Nothing marks the end of the new mesages. When you start seeing messages you read before then you have seen them all. You can also see the date and time so if you know when you last got on you can tell where to stop.

 

The board reads like a book where the new messages are pasted to the front of the book. Just start on page one and read till you see messages you read before. Then click on Show Newest Messages and it will take you to page one with any new messages right on the front. If there are any. 

 

As they fix the software it will get easier. Eventually we may switch to oldest

Order of messages

 If you go to your "My Profile" and set the messages to OLDEST each time you sign in it will show you the oldest messages that you have not read yet and continue thru the newest message on that board. 

If you have it set to NEWEST it will show you the newest posts first & you will be able to keep going backwards as far as you want to go until you hit the beginning of the board.

Double Dang. Ijust has a mesage with several gifs and thought it was great. Then I clicked to allow Phils site to do popus and the whole message was lost.

HI ALL

I'm in and out again here.  Just want to say welcome to all newcomers that arrived since I last welcomed the newcomers!  We are happy to have you here with us.

 

We have a few errands to run today so I won't be back until a bit later.  The board is already quite busy and I'm sure that by tomorrow we will be booming here.

 

Joe - I want to take a moment to express my appreciation to you for all your help.  Your knowledge about computers has been very helpful to many of us while we take on the challenge of learning this new board.  Thank you!

hi new comers

I just wanted to say hello to all the new people. We are getting quite a few and now it will be even harder for me to keep up. LOL

 

Kitty...hey how are you? I wasn't sure it was you until after a couple of your posts. lol Things are going great for me. I am so happy the board is back up.
