Water

 I am getting much better in this department.  All it took was a little attention and me telling myself it is very good and helpful, and finding out that it really does help!  Now I fill a 24oz bottle when I get to work, and give myself 4 hours to drink it.  Then while the kids are eating breakfast, I'm supposed to sit at the table and eat with them.  Well, it's after my cut off time, and they of course eat starch pretty much, so I sit down with a cup of water to keep me busy.  Then when I sit at the computer at home, I have 2 more waters, drink it with a straw to help get it down.  So there is 6, then I just fit in the other 2 when I get a chance, usually one with dinner and one after dinner.  But even with a guaranteed 6, I don't worry too greatly if I don't get the rest.

That is a main thing that went wrong this weekend.  I didn't have my water schedule, and on Saturday I think I just forgot to drink it!  But by the end of the day I had such a headache that I learned my lesson LOL.  So yesterday I made a much better effort in that department and got in 6.

You know your 1/2 gain was caused by not eating right, and that's a good thing, because your not in denial as to why...So now you can make the changes you need to, to get to goal...And YES my goal is set to the book of my get real weight.

Ok you predidted that you would have a gain this week and you did...But today is a new day....Your dinner menu sounds wonderful...Now don't forget to drink all your water...and you will see good results this week.

 Nope, no denial here!  Just need to work on my reasoning behind what I do...  I will give it 2 more weeks to see where I am, but if I don't get below 120 AND I have been eating better, then I will just try maintenance at 120.  I thought it would be easy to get to 115, but it's not looking that way :)  In high school I stayed consistently at 120-125, so maybe that is my comfort zone weight.  I didn't try overly hard then, just exercised and watched what I ate without obsessing, so that might be closer to the range I should be aiming for.  We'll see, I'll give it my all for the next 2 weeks and see where I stand.

I think we all will need to do that...165 is my get real weight, but I would really like to be about 150, like you that way I would have a little leway...But I haven't been that weight in many many years so I don't know if I can maintain it or not....I think no matter what weight we are it's still going to take hard work and constant detication to keep it off...I'll be glad when Lois gets back and she can tell us if she's at her get real weight and if it's hard to maintain it.

 Yes, those of us who are close to goal desperately need Lois to come back!!  She's definitely an inspiration to be at goal and to have maintained for over a year.  I know we can all do it with some work and dedication to ourselves!  LOIS -HELP!

I know we can too...And it looks like it may mean really getting serious, and taking things a bit farther then normal, such as water, and IE...I can really tell the difference in my losses with more or less water intake and IE....So it's time to step it up a notch my friend, and we will do it.

good night

I am really tired tonight. Hubby didn't sleep well last night therefore neither did I. LOL As a matter of fact I heard all kinds of banging at 3am and was like what the he** is going on. When he came back to bed I asked why he was banging around at 3am because the rest of us were trying to sleep. lol He said he got hungry and ate some hard boiled eggs. Sounded like rocks to me. LOL

Hello everyone

Congratulations to all the "losers" and as has been mentioned the rest of you know what you need to do this coming week! Go for it! Yes, I had a 5 lb losss - woohoo!!! 

  

This is just a quick post b/c Dr P is on in a few min. This has been another busy day - stop the world and let me off!! 

  

DH and I went to the city today for groc and other shopping and of course he wanted to go to his favorite fast food place - A & W. I was just going to have a salad and then eat more when I got home, but they had something new on the menu -  grilled chicken combo, so I got it. It was totally yummy - a grilled chicken breast on a whole wheat bun and a salad! That just made my day. 

  

Hopefully I can catch up with you all again tomorrow!
