thank you

With pancake syrup and a pickle.

Let the weeds grow with the wheat, lest you uproot them both. Their roots are tangled together, being planted by the same experiences. Begin again to plow a row right down the middle, turning over everything in a straight line. Or roto till around the edges to keep everything in a nice neat little package with a bow.

Don't look over the fence, cause the grass is always greener on the other side.

Ted

You made me laugh on my birthday.  Thank you muchly.

My garden tends to be a little over fertilized and things are a little thick in there.

Pancake syrup sounds like a good idea for today.  Maple for Maine.  But I'm still rolling tamallies for supper.

I hope everything on this board gets back to a more settled local.  I have been checking in... but the atmosphere's been a little hypersensitive of late.  That with the whole weird green ghoulie boxes makes this place difficult to be open.  And being zipped up is what I'm trying to avoid when I come to places like this.  Its the last resort before I throw my hands up and lock all the doors.

Oh, and by the way, sometimes the grass looks greener because your neighbors like to use fake grass.

Hello.........and I hope you have a Happy Birthday today.

I have been pretty quiet here lately........most of the people that are no longer here have reason. They don't like the new format of this message board...didn't really have to do with a specific person. That was just something that happened.

We really are/were a loving family and support anyone who needs it. We vent here, laugh, cry.....we go through MANY emotions in ONE day.

Either way, we are all supporting each other still.....just a different revenue.

Jen

Well I tried to post but something happened and my post did not go through. I was posting a website called www.about.com where you can find more info on bipolar or other mental health issuses. If there is not a topic on the board when you go there just type in the search box with what you are looking for. Is there an actual chat board, or do you just post a message and wait for the person to log on and find the post? I am new to this message board thing and not sure how it works. Also how does everyone get those cute pictures and characters on the board?

Sure Lithium helps. The real question is how your body will react to it. The higher the concentration is in the blood, the more annoying the side effects can be. A lot of people find the newer drugs more tolerable. But everyone is different, and for some people there is nothing like an old well known reliable drug.

In the dumps....

I am new to these boards but find them very helpful. I have had Manic Depression/Bipolar Bisorder for about 8 years. I am in a relationship of almost 5 years. I just recently told my fiance about my illness because I could not hide it anymore. I confided in him and he did the unthinkable. He told his whole family. I was humiliated. They had an "intervention" for me; (I am not a druggie nor and alocoholic). This has put such a gapping hole in our relationship. I can no longer trust him and I feel like I have no one to talk to or confide in anymore. His family continues to judge and outcast me. They treated me fine before they found out and now I feel like an outsider. We were separated for 5 months because of the intervention and have recently got back together, but things aren't the same anymore. I feel like I am not good enough for him anymore and I am afraid to leave him because I don't think anyone else could handle what he has gone through because of my illness. I trully feel stuck and my depression is only getting worse. My stress level is outrageous. I was hospitalized for a week because of the stress all of this has done to me and it doesn't seem to be getting any better. I just need someone to talk to. Any advice would be great. Thank you and God Bless
