By the way, when I did realize my mistakes, I immediately addressed and corrected them, and submitted the altered site to Dr Phil's staff for approval, and they were kind enough to approve my sight, in case I did not explain this.

I looked up local counseling centers on the RAINN website.  I felt such relief that I found a center in my area.  When I called today, I was told that this particular center deals more with rape and domestic violence.  I told the lady my financial situation and she said if  my offender had been convicted  that she could recommend a program, but because I don't have proof like a conviction I could never get approved.    I have insurance but my deductible is so high it really can only be used for major medical. I work hard.  I have been at my job for ten years.  I pay my bills but I don't have money left.   Most counseling offices want to file on my insurance but I can't pay my deductible.  My marriage is crumbling.  Am I the only one in this situation?  I feel like my life is falling apart an no one will help me.

You are not the only one. There are many. I don't know why there is this huge loophole that many of us seem to fall through. I have a friend who needed marriage counseling and found someone who counseled based on the income but even with that she could not continue the counseling. Someone must know some organization somewhere out there that will respond, respond promptly and give rates that can be reasonable! Give me a break people! Duh

Don't worry, Mom will get over it. She will learn to sweat the small stuff. Be honest on why CPS is there. She may get mad, but it will be the beginning of the end of the abuse. This is your chance. Being honest is the best thing. How were you to know about the car thing. If she wasn't trying to avoid him, then this would not have Happened. It isn't your fault. Let her know about CPS........

just like counseling, it is about talking and sharing. what about us in this group of survivors.., you can talk to us. We can use the tools that we have learned over the years in counseling, and listen.... share... and hopefully, help you out emotionally, mentally.  

  

The problem with insurance, as much as most of us pay! the more you need, the more we pay! i have 4 kids, good job and a successful spouse. We pay over a thousand a month for coverage, and still we all struggle. the problem is..when in billing insurance companies.., they pay under 40%. the rest of us, the members, have to recover the difference. it is a "catch 22" situation. Everybody thinks doctors are wealthy... but; you would be surprised. they are in the same boat, paddling right along.  

anyhow; we can help you and it doesn't cost you anything! just start talking and asking questons. we will respond.
