Ok my friends this has been talked about on another board and I thought that maybe it is something that we all can talk about here. What is the earth's spirit? is there one? Do you feel it? and do you think the earth is trying to heal herself and that is why weather is getting even more crazy?  Well i will be back later with my thoughts I have to go get the kids now. LOL fun fun fun.

Wow!! I never expected to find fellow pagans on the Dr.Phil website!! I LOVE finding unexpected forums for pagans, because it's hard for me to come into contact with any personally where I'm at (Alberta in Canada). The only place I can really find any are online. Nice to meet you all and I hope to make friends with you!!!!

Welcome to the board it's a little slow but I try and check in at least once a week but  I am moving so it will be less time.

Well, sure why not?  If we believe every animal has a spirt why can't the Earth, the place we live in have one?  Mother Earth is just a saying for some, but I do think She is real.  How can you not feel something when you walk through a forrest or feel the wind on your skin?  To me, that is spiritual.

 

I think the weather is getting crazy because of all the global warming which humans are accountable for.  Humans have a huge effect on this Earth and now we are seeing the reprucussions.

 

So yes, I do believe the Earth has a spirit, but we also have a major part in how the Earth is.

See I very mother beleive the earth has a spirit. (sorry too me so long to come back).  I do think she is the mother because with out her were would we be.  and I give thanks everyday to her.  And even though I use her gemstones to make my jewelry I thank her for the gift.

I do feel her when i walk in the woods or sit next to a creek.  and i think that people are harming her and she has had enough.  I think that is why the weather had gotten so bad lately.  All I can think when i hear of these things is why don't we learn to treat her with the respect that she is do.

How hard is it to just cut back on the things that harm her and thank her for what she has given us.

I mean were I live now there is this big I mean huge debat about mind power.  They don't want the wind farms because it mind get in some peoples veiws of the lake.   I am like OMG it is going to help whats the big deal I think they look cool anyways.  I can't believe the things people get their patties in a bunch about. 

And Ellfie I am glad that you stoped by how is the house going?

I understand what you are saying, Charise.  There are people over here that get upset by things that would help the Earth, sometimes it's hard to understand their thought process.

 

The house is well.  We are now working on the landscaping in the backyard.  My husband has lots of experience with landscaping and so I trust him.  Plus, we'll save big money because we are doing it ourselves and don't have to pay for labor. 

 

How have you been?  Is everything getting a little better for you?

I came here looking for Charise, but either she's too busy offline (likely) or she's too disgusted with the website to post. The faithful friends message board is a little way up the list (about 10 names higher maybe?) from this one. Marie has started a Faithful Friends blog. How I get to it is do a search under blogs for Faithful Friends. (You have to capitalise it just like that)

I have been dringing across country and that is why I haven't been on and well tonight was the first night that I had to get on line. I hope that all is well.

So the new year is coming up and what does everyone have planed....I am hoping to be unpacked by then and a house orgenized. LOL yeah I don't think that is going to happen.
